Honda CB tech info

Honda CB description
Last year for the single overhead cam series(SOHC) .....all totally unmolested, unrestored and original.....the black F series had more performance than previous models with larger valve set at improved angle and a racier cam for better breathing.............5 speed trans and triple disc brakes.
this bike was traded in at a Honda dealer in Saskatchewan Canada in the mid 80's and it sat on a display shelf untill the early nineties when I purchased it and since then has sat in heated storage. Before it went on display the gas tank and carbs were drained and some oil poured into each cylinder.A couple of times a year the engine was kicked over several times to keep an oil film on the cylinder walls but it has not been started .You would be responsible to get it up and running if that was your desire. This CB750F was actually built in the 4th month of 1978 so is one of the last ones of the SOHC series as I believe the next month or two, early production of the Twin Cam or DOHC 1979 model series started.(totally different engine) It has the original owners manual and tool kit under the seat. Hate to part with this but I need to slim down my personal collection due to financial reasons and space considerations. So if you would like to own a next to new original example here is a rare opportunity. Selling in non running condition. I do have a shop (previous Honda dealer for 30 years)and can get it up and going but for extra cost....some people prefer the satisfaction of doing the work themselves.(this is a personal bike and is not a shop one) My shop does have experience building a sturdy shipping crate as per the last picture and I did ship a CB1100F to the UK in 2014. The crate construction cost would be $325 USD ...the dimensions are 90" long....47'' high....33" wide...approx weight with the bike and crate is 700 lbs.. You would be responsible for arranging the freight company and shipping insurance. my shop 306-693-4140 9:30 am to 5pm Mon-Friday..Saturday 9:30 to 4 pm |

Blind car drivers? It's your fault. Really, it is
Thu, 23 Sep 2010Be seen, you Making car drivers see you is an art form that you learn from experience and narrow scrapes. It’s a fact of riding a bike that you’re harder to see than a double decker bus, it’s obvious isn’t it? You're small, fast and mostly, totally obscured by the average A-pillar.
2014 AMA Supercross – Phoenix Results
Mon, 13 Jan 2014Kawasaki‘s Ryan Villopoto nabbed a hard-earned first victory of the 2014 AMA Supercross season, overcoming a poor start that saw him ninth after the first lap for the win. The three-time reigning champion found himself well back after the first corner as Yoshimura Suzuki‘s Jake Moss took the holeshot ahead of Yamaha‘s Justin Brayton and the KTM‘s Ryan Dungey. Brayton took over the lead by the second corner and would stay in front for the first 13 laps.
