Honda CB description

This is a 1978 CB 750 with only 18,326 miles on it. The bike is like new; the Cafe conversion is not a kit. Handmade Seat, Hand-tooled (Wet Leather, Wooden Mallet knee-slotted tank) New Pipe, Chain, Sprocket, Paint, Shock Service, Total Tune, New Tires, and ALWAYS serviced by Rolf's Motorcycles in Longmont, Colorado. Can verify all numbers, past tune-ups, back to 2004 when I bought it as an all original CB. I decided to have the Cafe Conversion build on it and it came out awesome. It turns heads and lights.
I took this sweet bike and made it the best Cafe out there. Some details (as in paint on clutch and brake handles, but thats about it) are left on it- but this bike is not only sweet- but the 78 OVHC engine ALONE is a bullet proof power plant is so very smooth and such a good, no problem engine.
Once the build was complete, I found that the bike does not fit me. I am 6'2 and it is just a little small for me. Barring that- I would keep this head and light turner. I love bikes and I love this one.
Thats pretty much the rundown on the bike and why I am selling it. :)

Rides, Runs and Looks like a Champ. Im gonna miss her.

Surely more wins are on the cards for Seeley and the 2011 Gixer?

Thu, 02 Jun 2011

The amazing Alex Lowes is deservedly grabbing all the attention in the BSB paddock at the moment, but I believe last year’s top Superbike rookie, Alistair Seeley is doing an equally impressive job in the Supersport class. Although he looks ten years younger, thirty one year old Seeley  is riding one of only two 2011 600 GSXRs (fellow countryman Marty Nutt is on the other) in the class. Alistair has finished on the podium four times including a race win at the opening Brand Hatch round and currently lies second in the championship.  He also took victory on the Gixer in the only race run at the North West 200 last month and was looking like the runaway winner last Sunday at Thruxton until electrical gremlins struck after opening up a seven second lead.

The latest suspension manufacturer to hit the block, Nitron is hitting the ground running. Its latest offering, the Adventure series of shocks, leaves no question as to its intended pursuit. Do you remember Honda's EVO Blade?

Thu, 05 May 2011

I can remember exactly where I was when I first saw Honda's TT100 Evolution Fireblade: at the dinner table, reading MCN as a 16-year old lad and being told to put the paper down and get on with my dinner! I'm sure you appreciate why the lamb chops had to wait.. It was created by Honda to celebrate their 100th TT victory, however I'm pretty sure Honda had another agenda: to homologate it so they could put it up against the mighty new Yamaha R1 at the TT.
