Honda CB description

8/27 ***This is the last time I will post this bike. I can part it out and make $2000 off the parts. I hope someone wants to buy it to ride it but I need to get that amount back out of it.

Hate to see it go but I have way too many irons in the fire this summer so I am selling my 1977 CB550K. It is in excellent condition and runs like a dream. It always starts right away and runs through every gear smooth as silk. Other than the horn, every single thing works on this bike, even the turn signal alarm.

The gas tank has some very small surface scratches but no rust. The seat is starting to separate at the seams up front. There is a piece of black electrical tape on the seam. The rear tire should be replaced soon. The tread is only about 20% left. I still ride around like that but thought I would mention it.

There is a small spot on the left side that seeps oil when running for a little while. I cannot figure out where it is coming from. I took a pic of it where my finger was pointing. It does not leak, it only seeps. It does not drip.

Other than that, this bike is awesome. I am trying to be as honest as I can and my feedback reflects how I handle myself on E-Bay. It is extremely fun to ride something this old and in this kind of shape.

It has a clear title that is ready for transfer. Please contact me prior to bidding to confirm freight charges. I can also meet you up to 200 miles for $.50 a loaded mile.

Thanks.

2012 Honda NC700X and NC700S Debut in Canada – MSRP Expected to be “Under $9000″ [Video]

Sat, 10 Dec 2011

There are no plans yet to bring either model to the U.S., but Honda is bringing its new NC700S and NC700X models to Canada for the summer of 2012. American Honda will however, likely be keeping a close eye on how the new models do with its northern neighbor (or perhaps “neighbour”) before deciding whether to import the NC700 models stateside. Making their North American debuts at the 2011 Toronto Motorcycle Show, the naked standard NC700S and the more adventure-touring styled NC700X represent a new product family for Honda, sharing the same frame and 670cc parallel Twin engine with each other and the Honda Integra scooter-motorcycle crossover (speaking of which, there are no plans for the Integra to come to either the U.S.

Shunji Yokokawa

Mon, 14 Oct 2013

Honda Project Leader Shunji Yokokawa's first Honda bike was a CB900, which he got when he was a teenager after seeing Freddie Spencer wheeling his way down the Laguna's Corkscrew.Yokokawa has been in the States himself recently, having travelled to the Bonneville Salt Flats to break a world land speed record for a stock 600cc motorcycle.According to the Southern California Timing Association website (you'd have thought the video might have mentioned something about the record?), Shunji was successful in his attempt during August's 'Speed Week', setting an official speed of 170.828mph onboard a CBR600RR.

Cool Cycles Ice Cream

Mon, 20 Apr 2009

John Gibson had a vision 15 years ago to sell ice cream from a motorcycle sidecar, inspired while running as he listening to motivational guru, Tony Robins. After years of experimenting with different bikes and setups, including using the Russian made Ural (he once owned a Ural dealership), Gibson, finally settled on the Honda 750 Shadow and the Harley-Davidson 883 Sportster. The Cool Cycles Ice Cream Company is open for business, the headquarters are located in Tacoma, WA where they will start selling franchises within a 100 mile radius, the Los Angeles area will be next and Las Vegas to follow.
