Honda CB description

Selling my CB550F Super Sport model. This 4 cylinder motorcycle is in excellent+ condition, it is an unmolested original that has been pampered and never abused, and meticulously maintained with genuine Honda parts. Everything about it works 100% as it should. The engine runs smoothly and strongly with no hesitation and no surging. The transmission and gears are smooth. ALL electrics work 100%, the lights, horn, directional, even the turn signal "screamer" has not been disconnected. Brakes are amazingly good. I recently had the bike serviced by a longtime professional Honda shop. All work was done not because any problem had shown, just to keep it in top condition. All 4 carbs  were removed, cleaned, and synched. All 4 intakes were also replaced due to age, and not due to any problem. Rear brake shoes replaced. Brake fluid was flushed. Tank had been previously lined, and it's condition was certified by the mechanic. The exhaust is in near new condition with no signs of rust. There are no signs of any rust past or present, anywhere on the bike. ALL chrome is in great shape. Seat is perfect. Tires are also in very good shape. The rear tire is newer, front is older but no cracks or damage and is certainly usable, and confirmed by my mechanic's inspection.

This bike is in amazing shape, needs absolutely nothing, and is very reliable, you can ride it every day, and ride it anywhere. Due to it's age does have a few paint imperfections. It is available to be seen locally, and is sold "as is".

2013 AMA Supercross Houston Race Report

Mon, 08 Apr 2013

Ryan Villopoto captured his fifth-consecutive AMA Supercross win and sixth in seven rounds with a victory in the main event at Reliant Stadium in Houston, Texas. The Monster Energy Kawasaki rider passed holeshot-taker Mike Alessi on the opening lap and led the rest of the way for the win. Alessi, riding the Motoconcepts Racing Suzuki RM-Z450, remained in the hunt for the first few laps but soon gave way to a group including Team Honda Muscle Milk’s Trey Canard, Red Bull KTM‘s Ryan Dungey and Yoshimura Suzuki’s James Stewart.

Ducati vs. Honda vs. Suzuki: MotoGP porn

Tue, 08 Feb 2011

For all you lovers of perfectly welded titanium, amazingly machined aluminium and lovingly crafted fasteners; this blog's for you. These pics were shot at the Sepang MotoGP tests where the bikes were presumably being warmed up, ready for action. Take a look at that Suzuki, it's a work of art.

Surely more wins are on the cards for Seeley and the 2011 Gixer?

Thu, 02 Jun 2011

The amazing Alex Lowes is deservedly grabbing all the attention in the BSB paddock at the moment, but I believe last year’s top Superbike rookie, Alistair Seeley is doing an equally impressive job in the Supersport class. Although he looks ten years younger, thirty one year old Seeley  is riding one of only two 2011 600 GSXRs (fellow countryman Marty Nutt is on the other) in the class. Alistair has finished on the podium four times including a race win at the opening Brand Hatch round and currently lies second in the championship.  He also took victory on the Gixer in the only race run at the North West 200 last month and was looking like the runaway winner last Sunday at Thruxton until electrical gremlins struck after opening up a seven second lead.
