Honda CB description

Title: 1976 Honda CB500T Café Racer

For sale is my black 1976 Honda CB500T Café Racer. After a short warm-up, the bike starts, idles and runs well. Buyer will want to have the carbs cleaned in the winter, but otherwise, it is a solid bike for a 37 year old motorcycle. I purchased the bike without a tachometer on it so the engine mileage is unknown (tachometer states 7K miles). This bike has a clear title.

Upgraded:

J&P Cycles® Universal Chrome Shorty Muffler

J&P Cycles® Universal Round Tapered Air Filter

SHORAI Lithium Ion LFX14A5-BS12 battery (purchased 8/2013)

Alternator rebuild done at local Honda dealership (completed 9/2013)

Custom fiberglass seat pan with flat black cushion

H4 headlight upgrade (replaced original H5006 sealed beam)

Additional Modifications from Stock:

New dash bulbs (all in working condition) and new gas tank seal (purchased 8/2013)

New exhaust tape applied this year

No tachometer or speedometer (I have the originals and can include with the bike)

No turn signals

Additional:

There is a small scratch on the rear right seat pan (see photo)

Bike is sold as-is with no warranty

Bike is for sale locally and auction can be ended anytime unless Buy It Now is chosen

I will deliver bike myself for free up to 250 miles from Minneapolis to a home address if Buy It Now is chosen

Please do not bid or buy if you can’t pay for it

Ask me any questions and I will try my best to answer them (I admit thought that I’m not a gear head, just a rider)

Clymer manual is included (http://clymer.com/honda-cb450-cl450-cb500t)

Video of bike starting (http://youtu.be/ObRXOIIPrxA)

Payment:

Deposit of US $500.00 (PayPal, cashier’s check, or cash) within 48 hours of auction close

Immediate deposit required for Buy It Now

Full balance (cashier’s check or cash) required within 7 days of auction close

Again, please do not bid or buy if you can’t pay for it

2014 WSBK – Assen Results

Mon, 28 Apr 2014

Heavy rains and a fortuitous red flag were the difference in the World Superbike Championship‘s visit to The Cathedral of motorcycle racing, the TT Circuit Assen in the Netherlands. Aprilia‘s Sylvain Guintoli captured his second win of the season in Race 1, which was halted early by a red flag with five laps to go just as it looked like reigning WSBK champion Tom Sykes was gearing up for a final challenge. The second race was also shortened, not by a red flag but because of a rain, turning the 21-lap race into a 10-lap sprint.
