Bought this bike with the intention of rebuilding it. New business allows no time to finish. This is a very solid bike to start with. Replaced the points/Good Spark. New battery. Motor spins over real well. New ignition switch. Bought a complete extra set of carbs to have for spare parts. There are now 8 carbs to make 4 good ones. Also have kits for them. Gas Tank and side covers have just been repainted!! Needs master cylinder. Muffler broke. Needs to be refurbished!! Serious buyers only. Have a Clymer manual that will go with bike! AMA Pro Racing Announces Basic Twins Flat Track Class for 2014 Season
Fri, 12 Apr 2013AMA Pro Racing announced a new class for Flat Track racing designed to provide a new stepping stone for up-and-coming Pro-licensed racers, replacing the Pro Singles class in 2014. The new class, to be called Basic Twins, is more or less a revival of the Basic Expert Twins division that ran during the 2007 and 2008 seasons, but dropped when the Pro Singles class was introduced for 2009. The new class will give young racers a chance to showcase their skills on Twins, easing their transition to eventually enter the Grand National Expert Twins class.
Nissin ABS Modulator Recall Affects Honda CTX700, Suzuki Hayabusa, Kawasaki Ninja 250R and Possibly More
Wed, 17 Jul 2013Last week, we wrote about a recall in Canada for the ABS system on the 2014 Honda CTX700N and the CTX700T (known everywhere else as simply the CTX700), affecting 13 units north of the border. We can now confirm that the recall also affects U.S. models as well as models from other manufacturers using the same components from Nissin.
