Nice example of a bike that got parked and forgotten after only 1473 miles...original tires. Engine is loose and turns freely and shifts through all gears.....I pulled a spark plug and got spark. Bike has not been started for years but I don't think it will take too much to get her going. Carbs have not been touched so expect they will need good cleaning. Gas tank is decent interior ...you could get away with it but I would reseal. Front brake is without fluid so expect it will need rebuild. Seat has seen better days but are easy to come by. Some rust but expected given it's age. I have the air boxes but no side covers. Bike is in TN but I travel to Cincinnati area every few weeks and am happy to bring it along and save you miles if you are will to pick up mid weed while I am at the plant. MUST be paid in full before I carry it up to OHIO. Deposit is due at end of auction so I know you are sincere bidder. Thanks for looking. |

Mon, 21 May 2012K-Tech have released their popular 25SSK front fork open cartridge system to fit all Showa Big Piston Forks. Here's what K-Tech have to say about them: These lightweight aluminium units are supplied to the same exacting specification as all other 25SSK fitments with 14mm piston rods and a 25mm cartridge tube, the 14mm piston rods displace a large volume of oil through the 25mm control pistons giving enhanced damping characteristics over the standard Big Piston Fork and allow a bigger volume of air for a more precise feel at the bottom of the fork travel. Lever suspension, which stabilizes the bahavior, may appear on other models of the company in the future. This is hinted at by patent images of similar systems integrated into the design of completely different motorcycles - the “classic” CB1100 and the small-capacity C125 Super Cub.
