MINIMUM BID WINS!!

13,506 ORIGINAL MILES!! CLEAN TITLE!! CALIFORNIA BIKE!! This was my father's bike kept garaged for many years. I pulled it out of storage and tuned it up. Ran almost daily it for about 3,000 miles until this week. It runs and shifts beautifully. everything operates properly including the turn signal buzzer (Ill let you disconnect it). About 2500 miles on the tires. New pads, plugs and Oil change about 500 miles ago. 95% original. Handlebars have been changed. I think these offer better handling. I had a steel line installed on the back brakes. The right side handlebar switch is not correct, but properly wired. Correct reissues are available from Honda dealers. There are 3 cosmetic issues: (1) an approx inch and half crease on the tank's right side. Looks like it can be pounded out. (2) A little ding on rear right side of the seat pan. Easily touched up. (3) The original seat developed a tear as I rode it more. 3-4 inches long and taped with black tape. The chrome needs polishing. There is no serious pitting. I will include two used, but freshly charged batteries. Minimum bid takes it!!!
Buyer pays all shipping costs. If bike is to be shipped I will make myself available to shippers for pick up. The mileage may be 20-30 miles higher at the time of shipping due to running bike to keep the battery charged.

The win also helped Stewart gain some ground on points leader Ryan Villopoto who suffered from a bout of food poisoning. Villopoto was examined at a Toronto hospital and released in time for the opening ceremonies.

FIM to Revise WSBK Homologation Requirements

Fri, 17 Jan 2014

The International Motorcycling Federation is considering modifying its homologation requirements for the World Superbike Championship following Bimota‘s somewhat surprising plans to re-enter the series. Under current regulations, manufacturers must produce a minimum number of motorcycles for it to be eligible to compete in the production-based WSBK championship. The official regulations currently require a minimum of 125 units produced for an initial homologation inspection, 500 units produced by June 30 of the current year, 1,000 units by the end of the current year and 2,000 units by the end of the following year.
