This bike is a project bike that has been sitting and is being sold as such, as is, where is with no warranty. Looks closely at the photos, what you see is exactly what you will receive. It WILL NEED WORK you can not ride it home.

The bike DOES START with the help of starter fluid. The carbs will need to be rebuilt, or at least cleaned/dipped.
The starter button does not work (the button itself) but starts off the kick starter or direct power. Starter is good.
The right side cover has a small hole, high enough that there is still plenty of oil, but it needs to be replaced or repaired. Looks like the brake lever cracked it.
Will need a battery, throttle cable (tight) and other minor things typical with restoring an older bike that has been sitting.
One bag is cracked at the latch (the one that on in the photos) Both bags included.
Missing front brake lever (I have one from another cb500 thats included)
Overall its a very solid, very original starting point.

Great candidate for a cafe build or restoration.

TOO NICE TO PART OUT.

Take a look at all the photos, use the zoom in feature, ask questions. What you see is exactly what you will receive.

Magneti Marelli to Supply Electronics System to MotoGP Teams

Wed, 26 Sep 2012

It’s no secret that promoter Dorna Motorsports has been trying to push a standardized electronics control unit for teams in the MotoGP World Championship. The lack of a top-tier electronics package has been one of the biggest challenges faced by MotoGP’s claiming rule teams, and a spec ECU would narrow the gap between the CRT bikes and the factory prototypes. The manufacturers competing in the series, Honda, Ducati and Yamaha, understandably are resistant to the idea considering the effort they’ve put in to develop their electronics systems.

WSBK: 2012 Misano Results – Video

Tue, 12 Jun 2012

Max Biaggi strengthened his hold on the 2012 World Superbike Championship lead with a pair of wins at Italy’s Misano circuit. The Aprilia rider out-battled the Althea Ducati duo of Carlos Checa and Davide Giugliano to win Race One before taking a relatively easier Race Two victory. Before the races, WSBK riders lined up on the starting grid to hold a banner expressing their support for the Emilia region in northern Italy which has been suffering from earthquakes and continuing aftershocks since late May.

Bradl prepares for Laguna's Corkscrew

Wed, 25 Jul 2012

A rookie to Laguna Seca, Stefan Bradl shows one way to prepare for the Corkscrew; by riding his LCR Honda RC213V down the famous Lombard Street in San Francisco. The reigning Moto2 champion may have never raced at the Californian track but earlier this year he used a break between races to learn the circuit on a Honda CBR1000RR, having only had a virtual experience of Laguna before this year. At the time the young German said: "It is downhill, and there are lots of blind corners.
