I am selling my 1975 Honda CB750. It runs well and has tires on it with less than 200 miles on them. The engine was rebuilt two years ago and it also has less than 200 miles on it. The engine has new rings, the cylinders were honed, the valves were done and the carburetors were rebuilt. The second gear shift fork was replaced also. The bike is mostly original parts, but the pipes are 4 into 1 Kerkers. The pipes are solid. The paint is all original and in good but not perfect condition. There are no dents in the tank and the paint is pretty good considering it's age. One side cover has a hairline crack, that has been reinforced on the back side. The chrome has some pitting but cleans up well and shines with Simichrome. (see photos) Some of the electrical was hooked up wrong, but it doesn't affect the running of the bike: example, the high beam doesn't go on. The bike starts well and runs smoothly. Slight road rash on the speedometer and left fork wing. (photos). The seat is original, but had a slit in it that was patched by a shoemaker from the underside. Original toolkit included. Brand new battery. This bike would be a great bike to restore, chop, or cafe due to the engine rebuild and all the basics being there. I've tried to be as complete in my description of the bikes condition as possible. Remember that this is an old bike (garage find) that was brought back to life with some tlc. Rumored 2013 Honda CBR500, CB500 Captured in Spy Photos
Wed, 12 Sep 2012Spy photos have emerged out of Thailand depicting two new Honda motorcycles reputed to be a new CBR500 and a second, naked version, possibly to be named a CB500. The photos were posted on the CBR250.net forum by someone claiming to have inside knowledge of the new 500cc Honda models which would be produced in Thailand where the CBR250R is currently manufactured. The faired version is equipped with dual headlights like the Honda CBR600RR instead of the VFR1200-derived Y-shaped light used on the CBR250R and its smaller siblings the CBR125R and CBR150 offered in some markets.

The Japanese proposed a warning system about the danger that lies in wait for the driver in the blind zone. Honda engineers have proposed equipping the motorcycle with cameras and radars that will detect dangerous proximity to another vehicle or pedestrian and warn the driver through light indication or tactile feedback.
Honda Announces 2014 Cruisers, Customs and XR650L
Wed, 04 Sep 2013American Honda announced several models returning for the 2014 model year with no changes save for a couple of new color options, but the same pricing as 2013. These 2014 model announcements include Honda’s 750cc Shadow cruisers, its 1300cc customs, the entry-level 250cc Rebel cruiser and the XR650L dual-sport. Those waiting for more substantial changes will have to wait a bit longer for more 2014 Honda announcements.
