Honda CB description

We are selling our custom built 1975 Honda CB 750 Cafe Cruiser!

This bike was completely custom built from an original 1975 bike and has 9141 original miles on it. It's a 750 SOHC with a custom fiberglass tail-end, leather seat, a taillight from a '66 Lemans, VDO oil Pressure Gauge, Beston Grips, a brand new HID headlight and a custom paint job in black and Leprechaun Gold by House of Kolor. The paint looks olive green but thanks to layered tones of turquoise and gold changes color depending on how the sun hits it.
Bike also has a custom-built 4-into-1 exhaust  with no baffle and is jetted accordingly with pod filters. The handle bars are Cafe Style 2 and it has a nickle plated O Ring chain and lots of polished aluminum.
This bike is a true head turner - you'll be noticed wherever you go!
It's an extremely reliable runner and we've enjoyed it for many years. Trading up to a more family-friendly motorcycle so our loss is your gain!
If you'd like to stop by and take a look at the bike before bidding, please let us know - we are around all week!
For pickup, we prefer local pickup but if you live further away, please contact us and we can figure out shipment (we have successfully crated and shipped a bike to Australia before).

No snow here folks!

Fri, 31 Dec 2010

An erratic work schedule combined with a full season of kids racing means, there aren’t many opportunities during the summer months for the Mackenzie family to grab a holiday. Instead, we tend to save our pennies and head off somewhere sunny for Christmas. I love doing this as it shortens the UK winter but more importantly it means I miss the festive frenzy.  I do like Christmas, but I hate how everyone gets caught up in the retail madness that kicks off just before Halloween, then has everyone stressed (and skint)before Santa has even hitched up his sleigh.

Church of MO: 2011 Honda CB1000R Review

Sun, 19 Dec 2021

This sweet Honda lost out to the Triumph Speed Triple ten years ago, mostly for a deficit of horsepower. But now that all ten-year old motorcycles are archaic compared to the current crop, we like it even better than we did then. The Honda CBR1000R was light-handling, easy-riding and even nice to look at.

Old boys up front and where are the new 600 Gixers?

As I’ve been gagging for the new race season to kick off so it was almost a pleasure getting up at stupid 0 clock to watch the World Superbike Championship  opener at Phillip Island last weekend. I have to say Messrs Burnicle and Whitham were on form although I was disappointed there were none of the usual verbal attacks on each other that always add to the entertainment.    I’m sure they will put things right soon but the world superbike regulars must have been disheartened that Moto GP veterans nailed five of the six available rostrum slots.
