Honda CB description

1973 HONDA CB750K3 TITLED AS 1973. MANUFACTURE DATE OF 10/72

25,xxx ORIGINAL MILES, 2ND OWNER LAST 15 YEARS

FRAME # CB750-2206900       ENGINE # CB750E 2208481

MATCHING #'s, ORIGINAL FLAKE SUNRISE ORANGE BIKE,

HAVE CLEAR, UNASSIGNED, NOTORIZED TITLE "IN HAND"

PLEASE READ DESCRIPTION AND LOOK AT PICTURES CAREFULLY....THEN ASK QUESTIONS, PLEASE....

THIS IS A VERY NICE ORIGINAL BIKE, 100% OEM HONDA "MADE IN JAPAN"

FIRST OWNER PAINTED OVER THE ORIGINAL ORANGE PAINT WITH A UGLY SILVER, AND PUT ON A TOURING SEAT.  I WOULD NEVER OFFER THIS BIKE UP LIKE THAT SO I TOOK THOSE ITEMS OFF AND REPLACED THE SEAT WITH A BRAND NEW FACTORY OEM HONDA SEAT ASSEMBLY and FOUND AN ABSOLUTELY FANTASTIC "ORIGINAL" SET OF FLAKE SUNRISE ORANGE TANK AND SIDE COVERS WITH THEIR ORIGINAL EMBLEMS.  THIS PAINT HAS NOT BEEN ON A BIKE IN ALMOST 40 YEARS.  ALTHOUGH IT IS NOT "PERFECT", IT IS AS NICE AS YOU CAN GET FOR 40 YEAR OLD HONDA PAINT. INSIDE OF TANK IS PERFECT.  REALLY NICE.  HAVE INVESTED OVER $1100.00 IN PAINT AND SEAT ALONE.

THE OTHER REALLY GOOD STUFF:

NEW FACTORY OEM HONDA PETCOCK TO GO WITH THE NEW TANK.

NEW FACTORY OEM THROTTLE CABLE

CHROME IS IN VERY NICE CONDITION

MIRRORS ARE GREAT

ENGINE RUNS "EXCELLENT" WITH NO UNUSUAL NOISES WITH EXTREME AUTHORITY!

NO LEAKS, NEW NOS OEM AIRFILTER, GOOD CHAIN AND SPROCKET, BATTERY IS GREAT

CLUTCH AND TRANSMISSION WORK AS THEY SHOULD

....................EVERYTHING ELSE WORKS, RIGHT DOWN TO THE TURN SIGNAL BUZZERS................

WILL BE A GREAT BIKE TO RIDE AND ENJOY OR FOR AN EASY RESTORATION EITHER WAY IT FITS THE BILL...

THE NOT SO GREAT:

NEEDS NEW TIRES, THOUGHT IT BEST TO LEAVE IT UP TO BUYER FOR PERFORMANCE TYPE OR BRAND, ETC.....WOULD ALSO BE A GREAT TIME TO CHECK BRAKE PADS.

EXHAUST IS ORIGINAL........PIPES GREAT, GUARDS NICE, ALL BAFFLES THERE, THIN METAL IN MUFFLERS HAVE HOLES....THOUGHT IT WOULD BE BEST FOR NEW OWNER TO MAKE DECISION ON EXHAUST TYPE AS WELL.

THERE IS A DING ON THE FRONT OF THE FRONT FENDER

STATOR COVER IS DAMAGED ON VERY BOTTOM BUT I WILL INCLUDE A REPLACEMENT COVER I PICKED UP FOR IT.  IT IS IN *GREAT CONDITION*

TAIL LIGHT LENS HAS A SPIDER CRACK ON THE VERY TOP IN THE MIDDLE

HAND GRIPS NOT ORIGINAL

VERY BACK SEAM ON LEFT SIDE HEADLIGHT EAR HAS A VERY SMALL AMOUNT OF RUST ABOUT 1 INCH LONG

NEEDS BOTTOM TANK TRIM, DO NOT HAVE OWNER'S MANUAL OR TOOL KIT

HAS ONE BROKEN SPOKE ON THE REAR RIM

PLEASE FEEL FREE TO CONTACT ME THROUGH EBAY IF YOU WOULD LIKE MORE INFORMATION, HAVE QUESTIONS OR WOULD LIKE TO SPEAK ON THE PHONE.

BIKE IS SOLD AS IS WHERE IS.  BUYER IS SOLEY RESPONSIBLE FOR ALL SHIPPING FEES AND SHIPPING ARRANGEMENTS.

Classic Race Finishes: 1991 250cc Misano Grand Prix – Video

Fri, 27 Dec 2013

More than just a medium to view countless hours of cat videos, YouTube allows us to look back at classic motorcycle races otherwise lost to the depths of the VHS tape. This time around features the no-holds-barred, back-and-forth action between Luca Cadalora, aboard the Rothmans Honda NSR250 and Helmut Bradl, father of current MotoGP rider, Stefan Bradl, riding the HB Honda NSR250. The stage is the 1991 250cc Italian Grand Prix at Misano — back when it was run in the correct, counter-clockwise, direction.

Dovi given the 1000fps treatment

Fri, 22 Jul 2011

Andrea Dovizioso describes the perfect lap from the start to the corners. All three of the Repsol Honda riders have very different riding styles and comparing the above footage of Dovi against Stoner you can see that he is a lot more conservative on the bike than a ragged lap of his Australian team-mate. Still incredibly rapid though.

Lorenzo, Spies Call Test a Success Despite Crashes

Thu, 01 Mar 2012

Yamaha riders Jorge Lorenzo and Ben Spies each crashed but both riders deemed the third and final day of MotoGP testing in Malaysia a success. Lorenzo and Spies both crashed during the morning of the test but were unhurt. Despite the minor setback, both riders managed to get a lot done at the Sepang International Circuit.
