Honda CB description

This is a very nice 1973 Honda CB350F.  The motorcycle is an original and unrestored with only 7,411 miles on the clock.  It isn't perfect, but a very good motorcycle.  It runs and drives, but it will need some additional maintenance before you ride off into the sunset as a daily driver.


The motorcycle is a three owner bike.  It was pulled out of a garage where it had been sitting for a few years.  The fluids have been changed, new plugs installed and a general tune up.  The carbs have been rebuilt, but they still need to be balanced and adjusted.  The motorcycle will run, but it doesn't like to idle or run off choke.  Mechanically, everything seems to work as it should.

Cosmetically the bike is nice.  Not perfect, but nice.  I have lots of pictures in the auction and there are more pictures available here to give you all the detail you need.  The paint and trim look good.  The tank has a small dent as pictured.  The seat is in very good condition.  The chrome trim has some rust and pitting, especially around the turn signal stalks and the mirrors.  I don't believe the exhaust is the original exhaust and it has some rust in the end caps.  It is far from show quality, but it looks very good to the average observer.

I don't have any history of any wrecks or damage.  The tires look to be the originals from 1973 and I certainly would replace those if you plan to ride this motorcycle.  The motorcycle has crash bars as shown and I have the tool kit and owner's manual.

The motorcycle is located in Fenton, MO (western St. Louis).  I am flexible with payment terms and pick up or shipping arrangements.  I am happy for you to inspect the bike within a reasonable period of time and I can store the motorcycle for an agreed upon period of time with full payment.

This will make a very nice rider or a good restoration project.  I would love to keep it, but one too many projects taking up space and this bike needs  a better home.  Ask any questions you like and good luck.

Honda Zoomer X Prototype – New Ruckus Concept Revealed in Thailand

Honda Thailand unveiled a new prototype at the 2012 Bangkok International Motor Show showcasing the next generation of the Ruckus scooter. Known as the Zoomer in other markets, the Honda Ruckus is probably best known for its non-traditional scooter styling, with the usual tiny tires and wasp-like body replaced by a fat rubbers and exposed tube frame. The Honda Zoomer X maintains the original’s rugged-looking tires but instead of the exposed tubes, the Zoomer X has a boxy-looking structure, though like the original the space under the seat is exposed to the elements, so if you want to store something there you might have to break out the bungee cords.

Official 2014 MotoGP Entry List Released

The International Motorcycling Federation (FIM) released the official entry list for the 2014 MotoGP Championship including 23 riders representing 13 teams. The final entry list also lists each rider’s status as either a Open or Factory class rider. The eight Factory riders are allowed to use their teams’ own proprietary ECU software but are otherwise limited by a freeze on engine development, a limit of five engines for the whole season and just 5.3 gallons of fuel per race.

2013 AMA Supercross Daytona Race Report

Ryan Villopoto won his fifth main event race of the year at Daytona to take over the lead in the 2013 AMA Supercross championship standings. The win is the third at Daytona in the Monster Energy Kawasaki racer’s career, matching the totals set by Bob Hannah, Mike Kiedrowski, Jeremy McGrath and Chad Reed. Only Ricky Carmichael, who designed the sand-based Daytona track, holds more Supercross wins at Daytona with five victories.
