Available now with a fresh tune up is this beautiful 1972 Honda CB450, built in the traditional Cafe Racer style. Starting with a 1500 mile 1972 Honda CB450 twin, this bike was rebuilt from the ground up. No bolt was left untouched and every mechanical portion of the bike was refreshed. Mechanically this is a mostly stock Honda so parts and repairs are easy. The motor was refreshed and machined to a .025 overbore and NOS valves were added at the time of the build. Partial list of all the goodies added during the build, all top quality aftermarket, custom made and brand new NOS parts used. Sun Aluminum Rims ; carbon steel spokes ; All Balls wheel and steering bearings, Continental GO! tires ; MBW turn signals ; Bikers Choice flush mount fuel cap ; electronic ignition with Dyna ignition Coils ; LED lights all around ; Acewell digital gauge. Bike has been professionally tuned and runs great. A show stopper for sure, has won awards at every bike show and always turns heads on the street. Hero MotoCorp Forms Joint Venture with Magneti Marelli
Wed, 04 Dec 2013Indian manufacturer Hero MotoCorp is teaming up with electronic fuel injection expert Magneti Marelli in a new joint venture. Hero will hold a 60% share in the company with Magenti Marelli controlling the other 40%. The two companies are initially investing a combined US$8.5 million into the joint venture, with a planned investment of US$27 million total over the next ten years.

Tue, 26 Aug 2014More than 2,000 attendees visited America’s Car Museum for its 3rd annual Vintage Motorcycle Festival ‘The MEET’ last weekend in Tacoma, Washington, where over 300 motorcycles and scooters were showcased on the Haub Family Field at LeMay. The event drew pre-1981 motorcycles and scooters from the U.S. and Canada, including an antique motorcycle display, swap meet, cruise-in and a 78-mile roundtrip tour from ACM’s Anderson Plaza to Mt. Rainier.
MotoGP to Hold Official Test in Argentina; South American Nation Returning to Calendar for 2014
Thu, 11 Apr 2013Dorna Sports announced there will be a MotoGP test at Argentina’s Circuito Internacional Termas de Rio Hondo in July to allow teams to prepare for the track’s expected addition to the 2014 MotoGP calendar. Argentina was actually supposed to join the MotoGP tour this season, but the round was scrapped because of a dispute between the country and Spain after the Argentine government seized control of a Repsol subsidiary. Repsol is, of course, a prominent sponsor of several teams including Honda‘s factory team.
