Up for bid is a very nice example of a 1973 Honda CB500F. We have tried to stick to modifications that enhance the appearance of the bike without radically altering it. No chassis modifications were made, simply cosmetic and performance upgrades. Here is a partial listing of the parts and modifications: - MAC 4 into 1 header - Powder coated frame, wheel rims, side stand and swing arm - Polished engine covers, wheel hubs, fork sliders and hand controls - Painted engine block and head - Super bike bend bars with Biltwell grips - Carburetors rebuilt, jetted to the exhaust and fitted with Uni pod filters - New spokes, nipples and Metzeler tires - NOS tank emblems and reproduction side cover emblems - Original front and rear fenders (front fender has been shortened) - New speedo and tachometer in custom bracket. (We have the original gauges if desired) - Custom seat based on original pan. This allows the factory hinge to remain operable. - New Candy Bacchus Olive paint on original tank and side covers. - New chain and sprockets The bike is in excellent running and riding condition. Florida to Alaska and Back on a Honda CBR125R
Tue, 24 May 2011A 65-year-old man from Windsor, Ontario, Canada is attempting a cross-continent ride from Key West, Fla., to Prudhoe Bay, Alaska and back, on a Honda CBR125R. Bob Munden of Windsor is attempting to set the record for the smallest motorcycle to make the trip from the southernmost accessible point in North America to the northernmost point, and back. A print shop owner with a stable of five motorcycles, Munden will attempt the trip on the 124.7cc single-cylinder four-stroke Honda CBR125R, an entry-level sportbike model Honda offers in Canada.

I photographed the wonderful text on push starting but I also have lots of equally hilarious instructions on cornering braking and even what a riders goal should be.
