1972 Honda cb750 k2 bobber project bike. Runs, starts up easily. Correct engine/ frame match. Old school period bobber build. Only 45xx miles. Clean rust free tank. Good clean carbs, jet for exhaust and air box. Henry abe air filter box. Tight engine with lots of compression and very few miles. 4-1 exhaust. Extended forks with correct fork lowers. Good brakes. Good wheels, 16" rear. Unmodified frame! Stock unicorn top triple clamp with excellent set of original gauges. Chopper seat with sissy bar. Electronics panel. Bike can be made stock or made into a cafe racer with a few parts (stock seat and headlamp bucket available). Comes with all necessary paperwork for registration. Thanks.

Stoner explains the tank slapper

Casey Stoner looked all set to win at Motegi, after translating his pole position into an early race-lead. But coming over the crest on the back straight his bike momentarily lost control in a tank slapper. Regaining composure the championship leader was forced to pump his brakes to get the pads back in place, with the rear-wheel bouncing in the air he ran out of time and space to make the 90 degree right hander and was forced to run into the gravel.

Honda Returning to AMA Pro Racing with Team Hammer and Dane Westby

Days after the release of the reigning AMA Daytona Sportbike champion from his contract, the Geico Motorcycle race team announced it will field Dane Westby with the backing of Team Hammer on a Honda CBR600RR season. Westby rode last season for Team Hammer on the M4 Suzuki GSX-R600 to finish second overall behind fellow Team Hammer rider Martin Cardenas who raced on a Geico-sponsored Suzuki GSX-R600. Last week, Team Hammer released Cardenas from his contract option for the 2013 season so he could pursue opportunities in the Superbike class.

Honda sold 4.2 million motorcycles over its second quarter ended Sept. 30, 2013. This marked the second consecutive quarter with motorcycle sales topping the four million mark, and a 10.8% increase on the 3.8 million units sold in the same quarter last year.
