1972 Honda CB500 Four. Complete motorcycle. Have clear title and the key. Stored since 1983 in a dry garage. This bike ran fine the last time it was used.
A very original bike. The only change is the handle bar. I do not have the original. Owned by the same person since 1981. There is surface rust and dirt. Some scratches and scuffs. The bike has never been crashed or abused. Motor turns over when kicked. There is old gas and some rust in the tank. I have not started the bike. The chrome is still very strong under the surface rust and I was able to easily get a nice shine in a few spots with steel wool and minimal effort. This bike can easily be turned into a very pretty classic bike. Please review the photos and use the zoom feature for a detailed visual description. These isn't much information about the bike yet, but it is preliminary known that it will be built on the CB190 platform and will receive a single-cylinder engine with a displacement of 184 cc.
EICMA 2011 Preview: 2012 Honda Crosstourer Headed for Production
Thu, 20 Oct 2011Honda announced it will mass produce the Crosstourer adventure tourer unveiled first in concept form at the 2010 EICMA show in Milan, Italy. The 2012 Honda Crosstourer will use a V4 engine similar to the one used in the VFR1200F and will also be available with Honda’s dual clutch transmission. Long-travel suspension adds to the adventure touring theme, but the Crosstourer is still more suited to paved roads than dirt.
Isle of Man TT 2012: Supersport TT Race 1 Results
Mon, 04 Jun 2012Padett’s Honda racer Bruce Anstey won the first Monster Energy Supersport TT race of the 2012 Isle of Man TT by a mere 0.77 seconds over rider Cameron Donald. The race could have been even closer if Gary Johnson, another Honda rider, hadn’t run out of gas on the final lap. Before he ran out of fuel, Johnson was in the mix with Anstey and Donald with just 0.62 seconds separating the three riders.
