Honda CB description
Fresh restoration. No dirt. This bike is spotless right now.The brakes are new and the cables are all new.The tires are new and a new battery has been installed. The wheels are without rust anywhere. No rust or signs of pitting on the front or rear wheel. They are spotless. We have re-laced the wheels both front and rear with stainless steel spokes. The hubs were polished meticulously while apart. The engine has minimal miles on it for one of these bikes.thirteen thousand and change is all this bike has on it.The four into two header is brand new.I have the original pipes from this bike and they need very little repair wise to be good to use.The original pipes have no rust.I will offer the pipes to the buyer of this bike first at a very fair price .A fair offer for my bike will end it all and the pipes will be available for discussion if someone would care to have them with the bike.New chain and new sprockets and new seals and the list goes on.This bike is good to go.The chrome is original. The gauge buckets are done with a chrome coating of some kind and actually looks great. The tail light housing may need to be re-chromed for the very particular but other than a piece here and there the bike is beautiful. You have to hunt to find a flaw and if you do it is natural wear and patina. The bike turns heads big time.Sounds great and rides like a dream. This engine has original low miles on it.The motor has never had the cases split to my knowledge. These were the worlds first super bikes and this is undisputed world wide. The new badges are not aftermarket. They are o.e.m. Honda parts. The electrical all functions as it is supposed to function. The charging system is in fine working order. The gas cap is original and has some small little spots in the chrome. The wear is natural looking and the chrome isn't peeling. The gauges are original and show the fading from the sun as well as the green tint on the back of the gauge faces that comes from the sun. They look cool and the patina is one of a kind.As long as the gauges are working i will leave them alone. The trip odometer works as it should and the knob is the original in an unbroken state. This is a finely restored bike that could qualify for a nice trophy at any show for vintage Japanese motorcycles.I will consider any reasonable offer so don't hesitate to speak up if you have interest in this bike or one of my others. Thanks and good luck!!!!!

Honda to Shift Mid and Large Displacement Motorcycle Production to Thailand
Tue, 29 Nov 2011Honda is reportedly moving production of 400cc and larger motorcycles to Thailand from Japan to reduce production costs and overcome the rising value of the yen. According to Japanese news outlet Daily Yomiuri, Honda plans to produce 400cc and 500cc models at a new factory to be built in the suburbs of Bangkok, Thailand. Honda currently produces small displacement models such as the CBR250R in Thailand, with larger models coming out of Honda’s factory in Kumamoto, Japan.
Casey Stoner Testing The Honda RC213V At Motegi – Video
Fri, 09 Aug 2013Casey Stoner made a surprise return to MotoGP recently, participating in a two-day test with former employer, Honda. Check out the video below to see the former champ in action. The test took place at the Honda-owned Motegi circuit, where Stoner rode the 2013 model in the morning session before switching to 2014 machinery — the same spec bikes Dani Pedrosa and Marc Marquez currently pilot — in the afternoon. Unfortunately, the Australian only managed six laps during the first day of testing due to rain, but completed 47 laps the following day when conditions were much better.
More European Consumers Choosing Honda’s Dual Clutch Transmission
Mon, 15 Apr 2013Honda‘s work developing its second-generation dual clutch transmission appears to be paying off, at least in Europe. According to Honda, customers have purchased more than 12,500 units with DCT since the technology was first made available on a production motorcycle with the VFR1200F in 2010. The Japanese manufacturer now offers four models in Europe with optional DCT: the VFR1200F, the NC700X, the NC700S, and the Crosstourer.
