I have a 1971 Honda cb100 for sale. It has an open 1972 Missouri title not in my name. I've been using it to zip around the neighborhood for the past several months. I bought it non-running and discovered that the points plate was installed incorrectly. Once fixed it has run like a champ ever since. A little cranky to start sometimes. It wants a good 5-10 kicks before it's up and running. Idles nicely and shifts good through all the gears once warmed up.
The bad: turn signal do not work. I don't know if it's the bulbs, flasher or what. Indicator lights on speedo do not work. Haven't looked into it. Dent on front fender. Bad paint spots on frame. Paint on gas tank bad. Handlebar brake wire broken. A few small rust bubbles on rims. I think that the oil drain bolt has been glued in place. I can't seem to undo it and it looks like a oversized bolt. It doesn't leak oil andI have changed the oil through the filter at the bottom left side of the engine. All in all I would say average patina and wear and tear on a 42 year old motorcycle. Definitely not a show bike.
I put new tires and tubes on. I also bought a better looking tank although the inside of the better tank is rusty. Seat has no rips. Please ask any questions. I don't want to sugar coat anything and mislead anybody about the bike's condition.

Having once been admitted to A&E in a tatty pair of shreddies that weren't only on inside out (improved mileage) but were also on back to front (got dressed in the dark) and - if that wasn't already embarrassing enough - the elastic in the waistband had gone, too. Wed, 05 Feb 2014Honda announced plans to open its fourth motorcycle manufacturing plant in India, with a production capacity of 1.2 million units per year. Honda is investing 11 billion Indian rupees (US$175.8 million) into the new facility which it hopes will strengthen the position of its subsidiary Honda Motorcycle Scooter India Ltd. as the world’s second largest motorcycle producer while taking aim at the current leader, Hero MotoCorp.
