Honda CB description

This is a rare opportunity to acquire what may the most iconic of all vintage classic Honda choppers - an original complete pristine Denver's Chopper.

Interesting story: This motorcycle was assembled in the late 1970's/early 1980's from components purchased from Denver Mullins and Mondo Porras when their shop was still in San Bernadino, California. From the Denver's sissy bar and tail light assembly to the incredible Freddy Hernandez front end, this bike is ALL Denver's.

The bike was ridden on a number of chopper runs in Southern California over several years, always being cared for and never damaged. Then, for personal reasons, in 1986 the chopper was drained of all fluids, covered, and put into dry storage in the desert environment of Palm Springs, California. It emerged late last year in the same pristine condition it was when put into storage for almost thirty years. Look closely at the photos; the chrome, the paint, the motor (1971 CB750) look like they were made recently. Truly an incredible museum-quality survivor of bygone days.

When the bike came out of storage, fuel and fluids were replenished, and a new battery installed. The bike started on the second kick! She runs great!

I'm the first owner of this motorcycle after the original builder. It is currently registered in California as a non-op vehicle so there are no back registration fees and no problems returning it to service. I had planned on riding and showing the bike, but my age and circumstances have lead me to offer it to a new owner who, I hope, will give it the protection and respect it deserves.

I will work with the new owner's transport company to insure a safe transport of the bike to its next destination. I require a $1500 Paypal deposit at the end of the auction with the balance to be arranged prior to, or at, pickup. The bike can be held for up to seven days after the close of the listing. It is available for viewing in Lakeside, California; I encourage any prospective buyer so do so. The motorcycle is also available locally, so I reserve the right to end the eBay listing at any time.

If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to ask. I've been collecting and selling rare parts for vintage motorcycles for many years, so you can purchase with absolute confidence. I have earned an excellent reputation among Honda enthusiasts.

Thanks for looking at my listings. Please check my feedback and my other listings for more rare vintage parts. Thanks! Ride well!

With three different racers tasting victory in the first three rounds of the 2014 AMA Supercross Championship, the season was shaping up to be one of the deepest and most competitive fields we’ve seen. But at Round Four at O.o Coliseum in Oakland, Calif., Ryan Villopoto showed why he remains the top dog, leading each lap for his second win of the season. The Kawasaki rider only trailed at the very start of the race, as Honda rider Vince Friese took the holeshot with Yamaha‘s Justin Brayton slotting in second through the first corner.
