Honda CB description

Offered for sale is this time capsule of a 1970s chopper. These old Japanese period choppers have a real following, and are popular with many new collectors. Here is an old show bike that is ready to be restored to its former glory. The bike features a coffin style tank, and the bodywork is all done in metal. It has been sitting since the 1980s, and the skim coat of plastic that's on it is braking down, so the bike will need to be blasted back to bare metal and done over.  But it's a great start for a Winter restoration.

The bike comes with a clear Virginia title, ready for the new owner to transfer into their name. The engine turns over, but the bike is not currently running. It's missing the exhaust, seat and brake calipers. 

Please ask all questions prior to bidding. Payment expected within one week of auction end. Bike must be picked up within one month of auction end. Overseas sales are fine, but I can not help with shipping quotes. Cash or check accepted. Moriwaki has announced the launch of a new Women’s team for the Suzuka 4 Hours Endurance Race 2014, that will include two team riders, both from the USA: Melissa Paris  and Shelina Moreda. The race will take place on the 23rd, 24th and 25th of July. With Synergy Force Japan as the main sponsor for the project, the two American ladies are just as highly motivated as the team members of Synergy Force Moriwaki Club.

More Than $5 Million Available From 2014 Honda Red Riders Rewards

The continuation of Honda’s Red Riders Rewards program for 2014 means more than $5 million in earnings will be available to racers. Honda owners have the opportunity to earn payouts at more than 1500 races in 2014 motocross, off-road, dirt track, ATV and road racing contests throughout the country. Honda’s press release was awfully thin with details for road racers, instead focusing on a restructure of the off-road series payouts and the different ways competitors can hope to win money in.
