Honda CB description

2 Honda CB 350's For one price(2 for 1)1971 & 1972. Straight out of the 1970's looks.  They have been in storage for a few years. Lets start with the 1971(red one). It Has only 2,178 miles, and it shows. Original red paint and original seat and exhaust, with no rot. Chrome all over bike is very nice. Kicks over nice, and clutch and throttle cable are free. Goes through gears nice and nice period ape hanger handlebars. Very nice looking and original. Left side cover looks to have been repainted at some point. Fuel tank should be cleaned before starting. Glass on clocks is cracked, needs a headlight ,left front blinker lens, battery and front brake lever. Very nice tires and back taillight lens has a hairline crack. Could have it running in a few hours to a day or two. Made in 10/71.                                                                                                                                             The 1972 (orange one) won' t kick over(it did when I stored it)still has oil in it. It has only 11,370 miles. This one is not bad looking either but will need some work. Paint is faded ,and has dent in tank, it is missing left side cover, right front blinker lens, and front brake caliper is missing and wrong master cap. Seat is original but has some age as seen in pictures, back tire is original and  weather cracked and taillight lens is broken. Has nice exhaust and cool vintage period sissy bar. Front tire is nice. Both bikes have their original tool kits.                Still looking for the keys. But can be made easily.         Built in 7/72.                                                               They are both sold with bills of sale and don't have titles. Maine does not require titles with any motor vehicle over 15  years . I bought these as a pair ,and I am selling them that way. They are sold as is where is with no warranty. Day 7 Dakar 2014: Barreda Wins Another

Mon, 13 Jan 2014

After a day of rest, Sunday’s stage seven was characterized by rain during the night and a new Dakar country – Bolivia. After an early start at 4:30 in the morning, the first 62 miles of the special stage into Bolivia had to be shortened due to rain and poor visibility, low-hanging clouds that prevented the helicopters from taking off creating security issues. The route led across the Andes and towards the Bolivian border.

2012 Honda Gold Wing Tour: Part 4

Fri, 20 May 2011

Yesterday aboard the 2012 Honda Gold Wing was quite an eye opener. I had shared my impressions of some of the upgrades to the new Wing in blog posts earlier in the week (Part 1, Part 2, Part 3), but these focused mostly on some comfort and convenience updates and the bike’s ability to eat up open stretches of pavement. But on this day we put the Wing to a completely different test: the Tail of the Dragon, US 129 in North Carolina.

Wed, 02 Apr 2014

Mugen have released these pictures of the 2014 Shinden San (three), the electric racebike Honda’s performance subsidiary is hoping will take victory at this year’s Isle of Man TT Zero event. The past two years the Mugen motorcycles have come second to the radical E1pc Motoczysz machines piloted by Michael Rutter. Details are relatively basic at the moment, but underneath the bodywork, Mugen says the latest Shinden sees lithium-ion battery mated to an oil-cooled three-phase brushless motor producing 134 hp and a whopping 162 ft.-lbs.
