Honda CB description

1971 HONDA CB 350 -- CAFE RACER PROJECT

THIS BIKE IS MINE, I WAS BUILDING IT FOR MYSELF TO RIDE BUT THINGS HAVE COME UP SO I HAVE DECIDED TO LET HER GO!

THIS BIKE HAS BEEN GARAGE KEPT.

ALL THE HARD WORK HAS BEEN DONE ALREADY!

MOTOR HAS BEEN GONE THROUGH, NEW EXHAUST PUT ON, NEW DARK BLUE PAINT WITH ORANGE RACING STRIPE & ORANGE PAINT ON MUFFLER (PICTURES MAKE THE ORANGE LOOK DULL, ITS ACTUALLY REALLY BRIGHT), NEW KICK START, NEW SHIFTER, REAR TIRE, NEW CARB, NEW AIR FILTERS, RECHROMED

AS YOU CAN SEE I PUT THE BLINKERS BACK ON FOR THE MOMENT, AND IN A SEPERATE BOX I HAVE THE GAUGES, HORN, AND IGNITION WITH KEY.

EVERYTHING IS IN WORKING ORDER.

STILL NEEDS: FRONT TIRE, BATTERY, 1 REAR SHOCK, SEAT (I THOUGHT I HAVE THE SEAT FOR IT BUT I CANT SEEM TO FIND IT, BUT IF I DO I WILL ADD IT IN, AS IT WAS IN GREAT CONDITION), AND A FEW OTHER MINOR PARTS

CABLES ARE THERE, JUST NEED TO BE HOOKED UP.

THIS BIKE WILL BE A GREAT CAFE RACER FOR SOMEONE TO FINISH, I WISH IT WAS ME, BUT SHE HAS BEEN SITTING UNTOUCHED FOR THE LAST 6 MONTHS, AND SO I WOULD RATHER SEE HER GO TO SOMEONE WHO WILL ENJOY FINISHING THE PROJECT!

**PICTURES MAKE THE MUFFLER COLOR LOOK 2 TONED OR MESSED UP, ITS JUST THE WAY IT IS SITTING IN THE SUN, THE FRONT WHERE YOU SEE THE DARKER/BRIGHTER ORANGE IS MORE THE TRUE COLOR, THIS IS NOT DULL, ITS BRIGHT!!!**

BILL OF SALE ONLY! NO TITLE! YOU DO NOT NEED A TITLE TO REGISTER THIS BIKE DUE TO AGE!

THIS IS AN AS-IS SALE.  I AM NOT AN EXPERT SO PLEASE VIEW ALL PHOTOS AND ASK ALL QUESTIONS PRIOR TO BIDDING!

Japanese Motocompo Anime

Mon, 21 Feb 2011

Last week we revealed that Honda are likely to launch the new Honda Motocompo - over 30 years since the first version. I must admit, I'd never heard of it before we ran the news story, so I got onto YouTube and tried to find footage of a very efficient and humble Japanese businessman unloading one out of the boot of a Honda Civic in order to minimise their carbon footprint, but no... I couldn't find one.

Press Launches - the ugly truth. Part 1

Thu, 31 Mar 2011

For the nosey amongst you, you might be interested to know what goes on during a 'press launch'. The phrase is used in passing in new model reports as if you should all know what it is. Like some kind of given.
