For your consideration. A Honda CB 750, manufactured 8-70. The bike has been laid down on the right side with damage to the cylinders. The bike has a 2" over set of fork tubes, a high rise handlebar, very rare dual front disc brakes with an aluminum front wheel. the bike is equiped with a 4 into 1 Kerker header system and a period correct sissy bar. The bike was in a garage in Charleston, WV since 1991, the owner moved here from CA and would not ride with a helmet. This bike was owned by his friend and his wife made him get rid of it after the accident. This bike was just a spare in case he needed parts. No speedo, no idea of mileage, title misplaced years ago. I am listing this for the owner. Terms of sale, a $100 deposit by paypal is required within 48 hours of the end of the auction, balance cashiers check or cash on pick-up of the motorcycle. Tue, 09 Mar 2010SEE THE MACHINE that could propel Britain to a new motorcycle land speed world record at The Race Retro 2010 show, held at Stoneleigh Park, Coventry from 12th to 14th March. Almost a year has passed since Visordown broke the news of the planned UK assault on the land speed record - this coming August the Angelic Bulldog team travels to Bonneville, where it is hoping to smash the 400mph barrier and bring the motorcycle Land Speed Record back to the UK for the first time since 1937. The current record stands at 360.913mph over a kilometre.
Andrea Antonelli Dies After Moscow World Supersport Crash
Sun, 21 Jul 2013Italian racer Andrea Antonelli succombed to injuries suffered in a crash during the World Supersport race at Moscow Raceway in Russia. The Go Eleven Kawasaki racer crashed on the final corner of the opening lap in very wet conditions, and was struck by Pata Honda racer Lorenzo Zanetti. The race was immediately red-flagged and Antonelli was taken away by ambulance while medical staff attempted to resuscitate him, but the 25-year-old was pronounced dead at 2:10 pm local time.
