Honda CB description

THIS IS A 1966 CB160 HONDA  VIN# B1601062973
I HAVE OWNED THIS CB160 FOR MANY YEARS , IT IS ON DISPLAY IN OUR SHOP WINDOW . I USED IT TOO RIDE AT VINTAGE MEETS, AND I HAVE IT REGISTERED AS AN ANTIQUE . I HAVE A CLEAR TN TITLE IN HAND.
IT IS MOSTLY ORIGINAL . AS FAR AS I KNOW THESE ARE THE ACTUAL MILES. 3925  IT HAS SOME LIGHT RUST HERE AND THERE , BUT HAS NEVER BEEN RESTORED.  I DID PUT A NEW OLD STOCK GAS TANK ON IT WHEN I GOT IT, THAT IS STILL VERY NICE INSIDE  . WITH NEW SIDE PANELS AND EMBLEMS, AND GAS VALVE. IT  HAS 1 SMALL DING IN THE TOP FRONT CORNER FROM BEING HAULED AROUND IN THE TRAILER, SO IT IS NOT PERFECT.  I HAVE ALSO INSTALLED NEWER TIRES, TUBES, AND A REAR CHAIN SO I COULD RIDE IT. A NEW HEADLAMP BULB AND  I FOUND A GOOD USED SET OF THE STOCK PAPER AIR FILTERS . I WILL INCLUDE A NEW STD BATTERY IF IT IS SOLD.
THE BIKE IS LOCATED IN KINGSPORT  TENNESSEE  AND CAN BE SEEN OR PICKED UP HERE AT OUR SHOP .

Wed, 30 Jun 2010

With the two test riders coming forward to act as replacement riders for the injured Rossi and Aoyama, it brought back memories of the days when the grid would be gifted with wildcard riders from the respective countries. The Japanese rounds were always attended by some of the top guys with experience of the 500GP and MotoGP bikes, through racing them in their domestic championships. What resulted was getting to witness the exciting and talented Japanese riders, and bring new riders to the attention of the teams.

Casey Stoner Testing The Honda RC213V At Motegi – Video

Fri, 09 Aug 2013

Casey Stoner made a surprise return to MotoGP recently, participating in a two-day test with former employer, Honda. Check out the video below to see the former champ in action. The test took place at the Honda-owned Motegi circuit, where Stoner rode the 2013 model in the morning session before switching to 2014 machinery — the same spec bikes Dani Pedrosa and Marc Marquez currently pilot — in the afternoon.  Unfortunately, the Australian only managed six laps during the first day of testing due to rain, but completed 47 laps the following day when conditions were much better.

Classic Off-Road Bikes Featured in Braving Baja: 1,000 Miles to Glory Exhibition

Sat, 06 Apr 2013

Back in the 60s, American Honda tested the durability of its motorcycles by sending a CL72 Scrambler on a 950-mile trek through rocks, sand washes, dry lake beds, mountain passes and paved roads. Fifty years later, that legendary run is remembered for inspiring one of the most significant off-road races in the world—the Baja 1000. In celebration, the Petersen Automotive Museum in Los Angeles is hosting a tribute dinner, one-day off road show, and summer-long exhibition called Braving Baja, 1,000 Miles to Glory.
