Honda CA description

This is a collectors item or  Shriners parade bike.
1969 Honda CA 160 dream.
This style of 160 was only produced for 4 years 1966 to 1969.
Has 764 original miles on it . ( not even broke in yet )

HISTORY as I know it

The original owner stopped riding it in 1973 because he could not get it to run .
I found that the ignition coil was defective .
I replaced it with a used coil from a 1969 honda ca 160 .
I  rebuild the gas shut off petcock and replaced carb gaskets and new battery..
Rear inner tube was replaced by local honda dealer.
Original narrow white wall 16 inch tires have very slight weather checking .
Original red paint looks really good.
Some of the chrome has minor surface rust. Needs to be cleaned .
Has after market crash bar and turn signals . ( did not come from the factory with these items )
Mirrors are NOT original .
Head light has only high beam or low beam . ( I don't know which )
Seat has small 1 inch tear near the rear .
Mufflers had small rust holes on the bottom at rear .
I made temporary repairs that stopped the leaks .
Can only be seen if you lay down on the ground and look up .
Everything electric works , ( horn , starter , etc. )
Starts instantly with electric or kick .
Has been stored inside all it's life .
Has a clean Michigan title .
Has complete tool kit .
Not perfect but in excellant condition for a 44 year old bike .
Most of the pictures were taken before I did some cleaning . (wheels etc.and polish)

This thing is really fun to ride . It turns heads every where I go .

I can deliver this unit within 200 miles of Battle Creek Michigan for $150.00 .
Any other delivery charges are up to buyer .

Fri, 14 Jan 2011

Motorbike cognoscenti recognize the Vyrus name, the Italian brand producing exotic sportbikes based on the amazing hub-center-steered Bimota Tesi. The Vyrus story begins when Bimota filed for bankruptcy in the early 2000s. Vyrus principal Ascanio Rodorigo, a former Bimota employee, began producing his version of the Tesi after Bimota let its patents expire while it was in bankruptcy.

Mon, 14 Mar 2022

Fast Facts T-shaped chassis Tiny 1-gallon fuel tank IMU-based ABS No word on US availability Another friendly little retro Minimoto from Honda Honda announced a new 125cc Minimoto for Europe, reviving the Dax model name for a new generation of riders. The name was originally used in Europe in 1969 for Honda’s ST-series in 50 and 70cc models, and last produced from 1995 to 2003 in Japan. The name comes from “Dachshund”, as its distinctive T-shaped frame resembles the weiner dog breed, helping it stand out from Honda’s other minibikes like the Monkey and Cub.

VTR-Powered Honda Lawnmower Sets Guinness World Record + Video

Wed, 02 Apr 2014

A lawnmower powered by the engine from a Honda VTR1000F Superhawk has set a new Guinness record for the world’s fastest mower. Honda UK revealed its 996cc V-Twin-powered Mean Mower last summer, claiming it had been tested at a speed of 100 mph but could reach a theoretical top speed of 133 mph. Those claims were put to the test in March at the IDIADA Proving Ground in Tarragona, Spain, with an official Guinness World Records adjudicator on hand to observe.
