1966 Honda Ca on 2040-motos

Olmsted Falls, Ohio, United States
Honda CA description
1966 Honda CA77 305 Dream 8396 Original Miles - Strong runner in its original paint!
This bike was put back on the road in the spring of 2013. I've only put 254 miles on it since then and it's time for someone else to enjoy it. Carb and petcock cleaned and rebuilt with new OEM Honda parts. Gas tank nice inside, only cleaned and flushed. New fuel lines. New battery in 2015, new plugs, fresh engine oil just today, new fork oil, and other OEM Honda odds and ends. Period correct tires from Coker have 254 miles on them. All lights and electrics work as they should. All other maintenance items like valve clearances, ignition timing, cam chain tension, etc. are DONE. The original red lacquer paint is in nice shape but does look a little better in the pictures than it does in person. Chrome is good for 50-year-old Honda chrome. No significant rust. Mufflers are solid with OEM baffles. This Dream is ready to ride and enjoy. Note pictures 23 and 24 show the bike with a solo seat that I will include with the sale. Clear Ohio title in my name. Cash or cashiers check within 7 days of auction end please. We do not ship, or make arrangements for shipping. We will store the bike for up to two weeks from auction end awaiting pickup by you or your shipper. Interested parties are welcome to inspect the bike prior to bidding in Olmsted Township, OH. Contact us to make arrangements. Here's a recent video of this bike running:

Press Launches - the ugly truth. Part 1
Thu, 31 Mar 2011For the nosey amongst you, you might be interested to know what goes on during a 'press launch'. The phrase is used in passing in new model reports as if you should all know what it is. Like some kind of given.
Mystic Mac's 2014 MotoGP predictions
Thu, 06 Feb 2014There is no real off season in Moto GP. Although we complain about being starved of racing, for those at the sharp end, in little more than two months they have new bikes to assemble, team staff to put in place and sponsors to nail down that will pay for it all. This time frame is also tight for riders, as it seems more every year go straight under the surgeon’s knife after the last round and spend the short winter recuperating for the season ahead. The 2014 Moto GP championship looks like a cracker as apart from the ten full factory riders we now have at least eight non factory riders with properly competitive machinery. We also have five Brits on the grid, two with podium potential. Whatever happens though (providing you have BT Sport) you can just sit back and enjoy watching the incredible Marc Marquez do things that shouldn’t be possible. Speaking of whom, I didn’t believe a Rossi replacement would come this soon. And when I say replacement, I mean a rider that is the full package. Although in some ways quite different to Vale, he’s an equally phenomenal talent plus a very likeable character that appeals to the masses and although respectful to his rivals off track, deadly competitive in the heat of battle. Being young and good looking he’s obviously a dream for sponsors and the sport in general. Marquez has evolved in his own way but thankfully into a perfect replacement for our sport when the VR steps down.
Honda CRF250L Confirmed for North America
Thu, 19 Apr 2012American Honda and Honda Canada haven’t yet officially announced they will import the new Honda CRF250L, but the parent company has outed the dual-sport’s availability in North America. Honda has launched a new micro-site dedicated to the CRF250L describing its features including its CBR250R-derived engine. The section discussing the CRF250L’s muffler explicitly confirms an American and Canadian model, saying: “the model for the United States and Canada complies through additional settings for a spark arrestor.” The section on the CRF250L’s engine also confirms the dual-sport will be CARB-compliant, stating: “the power unit for the U.S.
