1972 Ducati Other (1972)
1972 Ducati 250 Road I bought this low mileage (4608 miles) widecase 250 Mototrans Ducati a while back with the intention of cleaning it up and riding it, but the excessive number of projects that I am currently working on will not allow me to get to this one anytime soon, and I could use the space in the shop, so it needs to go onto it's next owner. The only things I have done are clean the Dellorto VHB27 carburetor, and added the headpipe, exhaust nut, and exhaust crush washer that was missing when I bought it. The only parts that have been restored on this bike are that the tins have been repainted, and the bars were replaced with 60's Triumph Bonneville handlebars (much better looking and much more comfortable). Tue, 11 Mar 2025Celebrating 50 years of luxo-touring Honda/Align Media It was the second and last lap around Barber Motorsports Park aboard the Candy Blue Green 1975 GL1000 Gold Wing graciously on loan from Dennis Doyle, the brother of Honda’s Northeast Press Fleet Specialist, Rob Doyle. Rob discovered the pristine Gold Wing on Facebook Marketplace while searching for a parts bike to restore Dennis’s other GL. The first and only owner of the Facebook GL placed the ad with only 31,000 original miles on the clock.
