Honda 550 four description

This Honda 550 Four in its day was a very popular road bike that was very comfortable and reliable  to ride .This bike turns over just fine ,and has good compression the bike has not been ridden  but just stored away in a garage. I looked the bike over and have found the bike overall to be very solid and rolls fine ,, the chrome is cleanable but will never be show quality. once serviced and cleaned up this will be a good sound rider or a respectable restorable bike. The gauges are in good shape, the under seat and battery area is clean front fender is dented ,fuel tank is not rusted, chain , sprockets, and guard are good, bike has never been in an accident or down that i can see . Basically a good restorable bike starting at a reasonable price. The bike comes with a bill of sale only

Someone is Takin' the Mick

Thu, 30 Sep 2010

Pull out the slippers and plant yourself in front of a log fire and let Mick Grant talk you through his racing career. With a foreword from our Whit', the book details Granty's life from his Yorkshire roots through to all of his seven TT wins and the intense rivalry with Barry Sheene in the 1970s. Don't judge the book by it's cover, it's not a disaster like the out-of-focus oval-pistoned Honda NR500 but a good read.

Glen Richards back with Embassy Racing

Wed, 27 Oct 2010

One of the unsung heroes of the BSB paddock over the past few seasons, has to be 2010 Superstock 1000 runner up Glen Richards. A nasty tumble in at the Brands Hatch opener lead to four DNFs, but once back on track he pushed the dominant BMWs hard, finishing on the podium eight times. While many were trading their grannies to fund new S1000RRs, Richards kept the faith and rode the wheels off his Padgett’s Honda Fireblade.

VTR-Powered Honda Lawnmower Sets Guinness World Record + Video

Wed, 02 Apr 2014

A lawnmower powered by the engine from a Honda VTR1000F Superhawk has set a new Guinness record for the world’s fastest mower. Honda UK revealed its 996cc V-Twin-powered Mean Mower last summer, claiming it had been tested at a speed of 100 mph but could reach a theoretical top speed of 133 mph. Those claims were put to the test in March at the IDIADA Proving Ground in Tarragona, Spain, with an official Guinness World Records adjudicator on hand to observe.
