$2,000 OR BEST OFFER! Buyer is responsible for pick up/shipping. We suggest utilizing Uship or one of the other websites that offers shipping to motorcycles cross country. Original one owner bike *Clean original title from 1973 *4,079 miles *125cc Completely rebuilt from the ground up including: -Tank flush -Engine tore down, flushed and repainted -New NOS piston installed -Complete bike has been repainted -Carb cleaned and rebuilt -New 6v Yuasa battery Original tires (front has a slow leak) Small crease in tank (see picture) Rips in seat cover Kickstand bent Headlight not working Bike does start but needs finishing. Clutch is out of adjustment and wiring is not complete. Note: I did not do the majority of the work to this bike. I bought it a few months back, had listed it on eBay originally with a cracked top triple clamp but have since replaced it. I painted the exhaust back to black and polished the head shield. I have gone through the front and rear wheel and brake assemblies, greasing and torquing everything to spec. I replaced the fuel line and installed a new fuel filter and did an oil change. I've run out of space and the bike deserves to be finished. Any questions can be directed to our inbox here on eBay or you are welcome to contact me at 414-758-8178. Original petcocks, tool bag mounts, new clutch cable and other miscellaneous items are included in this sale. We reserve the right to end this auction before it's expiration. Thank you! |

A Different Bike Magazine
Thu, 12 Feb 2009Motorcycle Retro is a pet project of former Motorcyclist editor Mitch Boehm, launching as Motorcyclist Retro in early 2008 under the Source Interlink media umbrella. It featured a contemporary look at motorcycles of the 1960s through the 1980s. However, the circulation numbers of MR didn’t meet the expectations of the media conglomerate, and they cancelled production of the magazine after just two issues.
