1968 BSA BSA SPITFIRE MK1VSS (1968)
1968 BSA SPITFIRE MK1V SS The 1968 MK1V was the last "Mark Series" BSA Spitfire models made. A worldwide production run of only 1298 of the true MK1V models were produced. This 48 year old British Classic is an excellent surviving sample of this model; and has among other things, the needle roller timing side main bearing conversion, tuffrided cranckshaft and cams, new control cables, new wiring harness, new Boyer electronic ignition, new coils, anti wet sump control valve, new tires, polished aluminum engine cases, new chrome, new paint etc. The speedometer shows less than 500 miles, however I cannot and don't verify that this is the actual mileage as I am not the original owner, nor do I have it's past history. Judging by the overall condition of the it could possibly be an accurate and true reading.2016-07-08 05:05:31Fraser, Michigan, United States47813,995.00

A Different Bike Magazine
Thu, 12 Feb 2009Motorcycle Retro is a pet project of former Motorcyclist editor Mitch Boehm, launching as Motorcyclist Retro in early 2008 under the Source Interlink media umbrella. It featured a contemporary look at motorcycles of the 1960s through the 1980s. However, the circulation numbers of MR didn’t meet the expectations of the media conglomerate, and they cancelled production of the magazine after just two issues.
