1952 Harley Davidson CAPTAIN AMERICA.
OK not quite the iconic movie machine but it sure gets a lot of thumbs up going down the road. This bike looks great leading a Memorial Day, 4th of July or Veterans day parade. Stock panhead and 4 speed transmission, M74 linkert carb, mouse trap clutch and drum brake. 8750 miles since engine rebuild. To my knowledge---Original Harley wish bone frame, and Springer front end. (As old bike stories go, this bike was chopped in the late 60's or early 70's in California.The front fork is original with early Ford torsion bars welded on. Custom made exhaust and pan covers) A few upgrades, 12 volt electrical system, POWER ARC Electronic Ignition, and PRIMO primary belt drive There are a couple of chips in the paint on the fuel tank as you can see in the photos. Also a couple chips in the chrome on the custom built springer front end, (see photo). Overall a very clean bike for it's age Have an old school king/queen seat and other styles of handlebars and shotgun exhaust to go with the bike. Because the event was so popular, The Art of Rebellion one-night only event quickly became a month long showing. Artwork was for sale and the proceeds were donated to Art Matters, a foundation that assists socially and aesthetically groundbreaking artists.
