Harley-Davidson VRSC description

This vehicle is for sale by Premiere Motorsports Sales in Hampstead NH. We are a small 2 man Service and Performance facility that keeps 3-5 extremely clean and unique vehicles on hand for sale. The business has a fantastic following of clientele due to our up front business approach and our attention to detail with all that we do. We will describe this vehicle as best we can. Flaws of any kind on the vehicle no matter how small will be listed. Our descriptions let the buyer know exactly what they are getting when bidding. This way upon delivery there are no surprises. We encourage you to take the time to read the feedback that has been left for us on Ebay. We show minimal recent sales on eBay. This is due to 90% of our sales selling before the auctions end and customers contacting us and buying outside of eBay. Please contact us with any questions. Contact info is listed at the bottom of this listing. Thank You.

$16,000 Takes this bike home. This is a personal loss but business comes first. The business is growing and the Business Toys have to go. We just purchased a new long distance tow vehicle and are freeing up as much capital as we can.  If you want this bike call me, I will end the auction and complete the transaction outside of eBay. 603-489-9110.

Buy it now set at $16,000. Reserve set at $16,000.  This bike new and bone stock costs $17,000. The receipts for aftermarket parts are another $7,000. Now add in the paint job and the build labor of $3,000 at a bare minimum. That's a minimum of $27,000 to duplicate this bike!!!!

For Sale: 2015 Harley-Davidson V-Rod Muscle Custom.                              This is one of the owners personal bikes. It was purchased mid summer 2015 brand new and completely stock from Seacoast Harley Davidson in NH. The bike was built to how it sits over the winter.

The bike has 2800 miles on it total. There are only 500 miles on all of the new parts and customization. The bike was stripped down and the following modifications were made.

The body work: is from Germany and is all CNC Machined Abs plastic. It is manufactured by Cult Werx.  All of the body work has been dipped or other wise called Hydro Graphics. It is black on black carbon fiber and was dipped by Fluid-Grafix in Hampstead NH. The body work is all flawless and is a show quality paint job with no imperfections at all. The bike at night or in low light looks black. In the sun or when a headlight shines it at night the carbon fiber pops right out. Along with the body work is a custom seat and seat frame structure on the rear of the bike. The fender is short and the clearance between it and the tire is just right. It does not bottom out on the tire. You cannot put a gel pad or a passenger on this rear fender. The gauges have all been moved off of the handlebars and have been recessed into the Air box lid. The gas tank is located under the seat on the bike so what appears to be the gas tank is actually the outer air box cover.

The lighting: All of the lighting on the bike is LED. The blinkers are all small super bright LED that look like allen bolts. The front blinkers are mounted where the mirrors used to be and the rears are mounted to the rear fender right by the shocks. The Headlight is a Rigid Industries Dally D2 in Driving pattern. The headlight puts out more lumens than stock. It is wired off of the Hi-Beam switch. So during the day you ride with the low beam on and the light off. The license plate light as well as running lights and brake lights are all integrated into a side mount license plate mount. Numerous LED's make sure your running and brake lights are seen both day and night.

Bars: The bike has a pair of Roland Sands bars, risers and grips. The bars and risers were matched to the now lower seat height. You comfortably sit into the bike. The bar height and reach is just right. There is a Harley Flat Track inspired number plate on the front of the bike. As much of a hit as the smiley face was it has been removed. The current graphics on the number plate resemble a regular HD Flat track plate. Harley-Davidson across the top and then the # 94 below. The headlight has a cut out and sits behind it. The whole front end setup of the bike gives off a very aggressive look and feels great while riding.

Performance: The bike received some performance upgrades while it was apart. A custom air box setup was built to accommodate the new outer air box cover and the gauges being flushed into the lid. The bike is running 2 velocity stacks that are unequal length. The velocity stacks are within a large air filter housing that does have a top so they are not running without an air filter. These velocity stacks are matched to the custom hand built 2 into 1 pipe. This pipe was built by one of the best VROD motor builders out there. We discussed the entire setup of the bike with the pipe builder so that he knew exactly what we were running and what we were expecting out of the pipe. We decided to go with a Daytona Twin Tech computer with 2 wide band o2 sensors. This tuner replaced the entire factory ecu in the bike. We loaded a custom base map into it and then the bike constantly tunes itself within 1 hp of being on a dyno. Every time you start the bike it tunes itself until you shut the bike off. The bike runs and drives great. The pipe does have a baffle inside of it. It has a very unique sound to it. Quiet enough to cruise through a downtown area or beach boardwalk yet loud enough to demand attention when your rolling onto the throttle. The bike does get up and move quickly when you want it to.

Overall: Awesome running and riding bike that looks great and attracts attention everywhere it goes. The idea behind the build of the bike was to make people wonder. What is it? Is it stock, is it a custom build? Is the bike carbon fiber? We parked the bike outside a local Harley shop and did some people watching as people walked by it. They walked right by all the big wheel baggers and straight over to this bike and just looked at it. Everyone one of them with a confused smile on there face. We accomplished what we set out to do with this build!

The Flaws: I am going to list every tiny little flaw there is on the bike so that the future owner knows exactly what they are getting if they cannot come out and see the bike in person. 1. The pictures do not show the side covers that go right by the neck of the frame. The set that we purchased with the body work was incorrect. We did not realize this until after they were already painted. These two pieces can be bought aftermarket or over the counter at HD. 2. The rear rim has a small scuff in it. The last trip of 2015 the bike was ever so lightly laid on the right side while pulling it out of the trailer and into the shop. Anyone that is relatively short and has backed a bike out of a trailer knows that split second that your feet aren't on the ground towards the very end of getting the bike out. Well when the feet made contact with the ground they also made contact with the only pile of sand in the entire parking lot. 3. Front right fork tube. Has a small scuff from the same unloading incident. 4. front brake master cylinder has a scuff that is barely visible but if you really want to look you can see it. Again from the same incident.

2014 AMA Pro Flat Track Grand National Championship On The Line At Pomona

Fri, 10 Oct 2014

Granted, flat track racing isn’t our specialty at MO, but we’re no doubt fans of the action. See our coverage from the 2012 season finale for proof. The following is from an AMA Pro Racing press release: A total of 15 races over eight months couldn’t separate Jared Mees and Bryan Smith by much.

Jury Dismisses Suit Against Harley-Davidson Over ABS Indicator

Tue, 20 Dec 2011

A Sacramento Superior Court jury has dismissed a lawsuit filed against Harley-Davidson involving a 2009 accident that left one of the plaintiffs with severe brain injuries. Judy Wilson was injured in an April 11, 2009, crash after her husband, Jack, locked the rear wheel of his non-ABS equipped 2008 Harley-Davidson Road Glide. The plaintiffs contended they believed their  was equipped with ABS because the instrument panel had an ABS indicator icon and from the salesperson’s sales pitch.

Motorcycles at the 2009 Frankfurt Auto Show

Mon, 28 Sep 2009

Two weeks ago, I took a break from my regular duties gathering news for Motorcycle.com to fly to Germany to cover the 2009 Frankfurt Auto Show for our sister site AutoGuide.com. For two hectic days, AutoGuide editor Colum Wood and I scrambled across the massive 6.2 million square foot Messe Frankfurt trade fair compound, running from press conference to press conference to get the latest on exotic sport cars, futuristic concept models and international unveilings from the automotive world. It was heaven for car lovers, but for me, it meant fighting my way through hordes of photogs, auto-journalists and car show models to get the first photos of four-wheeled goodies from MINI, Ferrari and Lotus.
