Harley-Davidson Dealers Top 2012 Pied Piper Prospect Satisfaction Index

Harley-Davidson dealerships topped the rankings for the 2012 edition of the Pied Piper Prospect Satisfaction Index, an industry benchmarking study examining how well dealerships treat customers, and turning shoppers into buyers. The Pied Piper PSI rated different manufacturers’ dealerships in a number of categories to produce an overall score. The study was conducted between July 2011 and April 2012 with 1,653 anonymous “mystery shoppers” gathering information at different dealerships across the U.S.

Stephen King to Guest Star on ‘Sons of Anarchy’

Stephen King will be making a guest appearance on the hit TV show, Sons of Anarchy, later tonight.  King will play a character named “Bachman”, which I’m sure was no coincidence since he had published under the pen name “Richard Bachman” for several years. Stephen King is a motorcycle enthusiast and was excited to get a tricked-out, bright red Harley-Davidson Road-Glide to ride for the filming of the episode.  See his comments about the production here. CARB Reveals 2014 Harley-Davidson Models, Including Some “Cool” Surprises

The California Air Resource Board has issued executive orders on a number of 2014 Harley-Davidson models, revealing much of the Motor Company’s upcoming product lineup. While most of the models listed are familiar, the documents do reveal some gems including possible signs of the long-rumored new liquid-cooled Harley-Davidson engine. The first and least surprising reveal is the disappearance of the 1584cc Twin Cam 96 engine.
