Harley-Davidson VRSC description

2007 Harley-Davidson VRSCDX Night Rod Special, VRSCDX Night Rod Special - WHEN YOU GET RIGHT DOWN TO IT, THIS JUST MIGHT BE THE BLACKEST SHEEP OF THEM ALL. Baa, baa black sheep have you any intestinal fortitude? Because, friend, thats what it takes to burn this blend of midnight oil. A deep-throated howl pumps out of its black-hearted 1,130 cc Revolution engine. Radical silver screen mesh cover details. Gloss black body panels and air box cover with black denim racing stripes scream, as you get nocturnal through every gear. 120 horses feed 240 mm of rabid rear rubber. Black, slotted disc wheels brandish orange pinstripes. Drag bars and forward foot controls create a menacing riding position. When you get right down to it, this just might be the blackest sheep of them all.

Donation of Photos and Memorabilia to Harley-Davidson Museum Reveal Glimpse of Early Days at Harley

Thu, 22 Mar 2012

Harley-Davidson Museum today posted on its Facebook page a selection of photos it received as part of collection of images and memorabilia donated by a former Harley employee. According to the Facebook post former H-D employee Bob Jameson donated “ two scrapbooks, numerous photographs, news clippings and other company related materials” for the museum’s collection. Jameson, following in his father’s footsteps, worked for The Motor Company, and in 1960 helped develop a motorcycle suited for use in the Vietnam war.
