Harley-Davidson VRSC description

Beautiful Harley racing Orange 2006 V-Rod. Excellent shape, Only 3200 miles on her. Garage kept. Screamin' Eagle exhaust, has that Harley rumble. Of course runs and drives great, tires have all the tread, brand new battery, fresh synthetic Mobile Oil change with K&N filter. Fresh VA inspection. 2006 Is the first year of the better Brembo brakes. V-Rods are the only water cooled Harley you can get and the engine was co-designed with Porsche, it can rev to speeds that would toast other Harley V-twins. You will feel like a total Bad A$$ on this thing, and it's fast unlike other air cooled Harley's. Tons of thumbs up thrown your way when riding (at least I think they are thumbs). Mechanically perfect.

As with any bike, cash in hand to test it out, and only if your gonna buy. You can look sit and dream for free. There will be no Allstate Mayhem scenario on my watch.

Tue, 22 Jul 2014

Harley-Davidson reported a net income of $354.2 million over the second quarter of 2014, thanks to a 12.4% increase in sales revenue. Actual motorcycle sales volume stayed about even, however, with unit sales increasing to just 90,218 motorcycles from 90,193 sold in the same quarter last year. Though sales were statistically the same as they were last year, Harley-Davidson generated $1.48 billion in revenue from motorcycle sales alone, up 16.2% from the $1.27 billion reported in the second quarter of 2013.

Harley-Davidson Reveals Project Livewire

Thu, 19 Jun 2014

Yesterday we published a scoop on what we believed to be a production electric motorcycle by, of all companies, Harley-Davidson, dubbed “Livewire.” Today, H-D officially announced Project LiveWire as the company’s first electric motorcycle. However, it appears as though our speculation about LiveWire going into production was a bit off base. Instead, The Motor Company is continuing with its customer-led product development approach and letting riders decide whether or not LiveWire sees the light of day. Starting next week select consumers across the country will be able to ride and provide feedback on the bike, helping to shape the future of Harley-Davidson’s first-ever electric motorcycle. While not for sale, Project LiveWire is specifically designed for the purpose of getting insight into rider expectations of an electric Harley-Davidson motorcycle.

2012-2013 Harley-Davidson VRSCDX Night Rod Special Recalled for Loose License Plate Bracket

Thu, 25 Oct 2012

Harley-Davidson is issuing a recall on all Night Rod Special models from 2012 and some from 2013 because of a potentially loose license plate bracket. According to documents released by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, the mounting screws connecting the VRSDCDX‘s license plate bracket to the tail may loosen, potentially causing the plate to rub against the rear tire. This may cause the plate bracket to rotate as well as damage rear brake lines.
