This Harley Street Rod is similar to the VROD but with pegs and controls under the rider???s hips instead of forward controls typical of most cruisers. This particular bike has only 800 miles on it having come out of a significant motorcycle collection. It is like a brand new bike with no faults. It starts, rides and handles really nicely. It is a true pleasure to ride.Basic specs: An 1130cc, dohc, 60-degree, fuel-injected V-Twin making 120 horsepower and 80-foot pounds of torque in a standard-style chassis with upright ergonomics, sport-tuned suspension, Brembo brakes and sticky tires.The Porsche-designed engine was???and still is, in current V-Rod models?????one of the smoothest, most captivating and civilized V-Twins the industry has ever seen, with a powerband that begins when the engine first burbles to life and ends when the rev limiter kicks in.

Harley-Davidson Goes Low for 2015
Tue, 26 Aug 2014Harley-Davidson revealed the new 2015 Electra Glide Ultra Classic Low and Ultra Limited Low, offering what it calls the the lowest seat height of any premium touring motorcycle on the market. Designed with riders 5 feet 7 inches and shorter in mind, the two Low models have a seat height of 25.6 inches from the ground, or 1.7 inches lower than the regular models. The lower seat isn’t the only change to accommodate shorter riders.

Stephen King to Guest Star on ‘Sons of Anarchy’
Tue, 21 Sep 2010Stephen King will be making a guest appearance on the hit TV show, Sons of Anarchy, later tonight. King will play a character named “Bachman”, which I’m sure was no coincidence since he had published under the pen name “Richard Bachman” for several years. Stephen King is a motorcycle enthusiast and was excited to get a tricked-out, bright red Harley-Davidson Road-Glide to ride for the filming of the episode. See his comments about the production here.
