This is the STREETROD model VRSCR made in 2006. It is the closest thing that you can get to
the VR1000 race bike Harley came out with years ago. 1130cc water-cooled
V-Twin with 120 hp stock. I added the following items to change it to
my liking. Bar end mirrors, oil stick with analog temp gauge, a
Glowshift 2" water temp gauge with 7 color changeable display, DanMoto 2
into 1 exhaust system, V&H Fuelpak model 61005b, K&N high flow
air filter. Stock exhaust is included in deal at no extra cost. The
exhaust system drop almost 30 lbs from stock which help when your bike
weighs over 650 lbs stock. Sounds great, very fast and unique look. The STREETROD has the mid controls and steeper raked forks over all other
VRODS which makes it ride like a sport bike. I had the bike for a couple years
and hate to part with it. Adult owned and ridden I am the second owner. Less than 13,000 miles. Black w Silver accents and lots of shiny chrome and aluminum parts. Tue, 17 Dec 2013It’s probably not conducive for sleeping in heavenly peace, but Harley-Davidson has released a Christmas-themed ad with the song “Silent Night” performed by the revving V-Twin engine of a Softail Breakout. Titled “The Sound of the Festive Season”, the ad spot was produced by U.K agency Big Communications for Harley-Davidson Europe Middle East and Africa. According to AdWeek, the ad was conceived, sold and produced in just 72 hours.
Harley-Davidson to compete in Hill Climb
Wed, 24 Jan 2018For the first time in the history of the World Extreme Games, in addition to skiers, snowboarders and other extreme winter sports, Harley-Davidson motorcycle riders will also start competing. The new Harley-Davidson Snow Hill Climb medal discipline will be introduced during the final days of the games, which will take place from January 25 to 28, 2018. Athletes will climb on motorcycles on the slope of the SuperPipe track.
Laguna Seca Added to 2014 AMA Superbike Schedule
Thu, 13 Mar 2014AMA Superbike will be racing at Laguna Seca this year after all, with AMA Pro Racing announced the addition of the Monterey, Calif., circuit to its 2014 schedule, joining the World Superbike Championship on July 11-13. Laguna Seca was not included in AMA Pro Racing’s calendar, but its addition now increases the number of rounds in the series to six. That’s still down from the nine rounds held in 2013, but the absence of Laguna Seca and its famed Corkscrew would have been an especially tough loss.
