Selling my 2006 Harley V-rod. It's a beautiful bike and a thrill to ride. This is a not a typical Harley and is not a bike for beginners. Very fast, but also a great cruising bike. Just depends what kind of rider you are.
This bike was never raced or abused. It was adult owned and maintained. I take care of all my stuff, especially my Harley. When I am not riding the bike it is kept in my garage and covered. It currently has 8,100 miles on the odometer. The tires are new and I had Vance & Hines powershots put on this summer. It also has a power programmer and was professionally tuned. The bike runs perfectly and I've never had an issue with it. Please feel free to ask questions. Thank you for looking. The exhaust pipes in the pictures are the original equipment pipes. I can post or send pics with the Vance and Hines pipes if requested. There is a loan on the bike. The title will be mailed to the new owner asap. Cash in hand is the only way I'll let the bike go. No personal checks, paypal, or any other kind of "currency." No joy rides or first timers. |

Louisiana Bill Updates Maximum Handlebar Height Legislation
Thu, 17 May 2012Louisiana state lawmakers have approved a bill that would change the maximum height of motorcycle handlebars. Current state law restricts handlebar height to no more than 15 inches above the seat, a somewhat arbitrary level, but a common choice with 17 other states. The House has voted 87-0 in favor of Senate Bill 582 to change the maximum height to the rider’s shoulder level, as measured while sitting on the seat.
