2004 Harley-Davidson VRSCA V-Rod, 2004 V-Rod with performance exhaust! - Your eyes are not playing tricks on you. What you’re seeing here is indeed 115 horses of a very different color. The muscle-and-metal-to-the-max VRSCA V-Rod gone tinted. For 2004, we took the aluminum bodywork through the paint booth and came up with some standout shades, including Lava Red Sunglo that’s sure to stop a sidewalk full of pedestrians dead in their tracks. From there, we went further. The perimeter frame has a new sliver-leaf powder-coat for sheen. The overall effect carries on its crowd-drawing tradition. And it enhances the long, low hot rod theme provided by the 49mm, 38° raked fork, 180mm rear tire, solid disc wheels and sweeping exhaust. The strapping, 60° V-Twin Revolution power plant sends it all blistering into motion. Liquid-cooled and fuel-injected, it displaces 1130cc and pumps out 115 horsepower. 2014 Biker Belles Symposium At Sturgis Buffalo Chip

Proceedings get underway with filmmaker, Michelle Carpenter, showing a clip from her new documentary about women riders, “Driven to Ride.” When Carpenter finishes, a panel of leading industry women will address attending participants, including motivational speaker and safety expert, Cat Hammes; Team Diva owner, Diva Amy Skaling; ROAR Motorcycles founder, Kathy Tolleson; National Online Director of Marketing & PR for Russ Brown Motorcycle Attorneys, Audrey Nesbitt; drag racer, Andie Gaskins; and more. Stephen King to Guest Star on ‘Sons of Anarchy’
Tue, 21 Sep 2010Stephen King will be making a guest appearance on the hit TV show, Sons of Anarchy, later tonight. King will play a character named “Bachman”, which I’m sure was no coincidence since he had published under the pen name “Richard Bachman” for several years. Stephen King is a motorcycle enthusiast and was excited to get a tricked-out, bright red Harley-Davidson Road-Glide to ride for the filming of the episode. See his comments about the production here. Want to Buy the Pope’s Harley?
Mon, 13 Jan 2014In February, Bohnams auction house in Paris will allow both the Catholic and the Harley faithful to bid on a Harley-Davidson Dyna Super Glide owned by none other than Pope Francis, himself. Given to the Pope last year as part of the Harley-Davidson 110th anniversary celebration, the bike was unlikely to become the Popecycle because of the security required to protect the pontiff. The Pope donated the Dyna to the Roman Catholic charity Caritas Roma but not before signing the tank with “Francesco” at a special ceremony at the Vatican last November.
