Harley-Davidson VRSC description

                      NO RESERVE!!!

This is NOT your typical 2002 V-Rod. It is not only the first year that this bike was produced but it is a limited edition, #10 out of 10 produced by the custom factory Harley team. This bike is one of a kind and turns heads at every show I attend. The mileage is low as I use my Wide-Glide for long runs to keep the mileage down on this one. Everything on this bike, except for maintenance items, is bone original. The bike has a boxer design drag race inspired engine, the factory tuned it with Screaming Eagle pipes, upgraded fuel injectors, stage three cam and computer programing. The paint is special edition and was done by the factory to look like the P-40 spitfires. The Bomber paint scheme is changed year by year at Harley so no two are exactly alike. This bike runs and rides flawlessly as I ride it whenever I can to shows and would not hesitate taking it to California and back. I rode it last year on a trip through the Catskills for three days without any problems. Bike has been well maintained and the oil change was just done as well as the fluids being changed. This bike is ready to go and a rare collectors item. The paint is flawless as well as the rest of the bike. It has never been raced, abused, dropped, painted, or treated poorly. It has a slight blemish on the chrome side cover as well as minor pitting on the inside of the chrome mirrors. This bike is a must see and, since it is one of a kind, it will only appreciate in value over time.

Feel free to contact me on my business phone at 908-347-9873. Please leave a message if I don't pick up. I am ready and available to show the bike to potential buyers at most reasonable times. I am selling to expand my business and the bike needs nothing but a good home.

Please do not bid on the item if you cant pay for it.....

Motorcycle Stirrups – Yes, They Exist!

Wed, 15 Jan 2014

What do you get when a lifelong horse rider and motorcyclist from Nebraska gets inspired to combine his two loves? Why, motorcycle stirrups, of course! The idea came to Devin Santana, proprietor of Nebraska City Iron Works, one day when he was riding his Harley-Davidson down the road and looked down at his feet.

Bonhams To Auction Wayne Pierce Family Collection Of Motorcycles Jan. 9, 2014, In Las Vegas

Fri, 04 Oct 2013

On January 9, 2014, during the fourth annual Las Vegas Sale of motorcycles at Bally’s Hotel and Casino, Bonhams, the world’s largest auction house for cars, motorcycles and memorabilia, will be auctioning off over 50 motorcycles from the extensive Wayne Pierce family museum collection, all offered at no reserve. Among the machines is a first-year Harley-Davidson Sportster believed to be the 10th XL883 produced in 1957, a 1933 Harley VLE police bike that saw actual duty on the streets of Chicago before being cast in the 1987 Kevin Costner gangster movie, “The Untouchables,” and an authentic and unrestored 1947 Harley Knucklehead wearing period aftermarket accessories. Wayne “Pappy” Pierce started his Harley-Davidson dealership in 1957, run out of a one-room tin shed in DeKalb, Illinois.
