THIS AUCTION IS FOR A 2008 HARLEY DAVIDSON STREET GLIDE FLHX . THIS MOTORCYCLE WAS IN AN ACCIDENT IN AUGUST. IT HAS A CLEAR TITLE. THE BIKE RAN MINT WITH ONLY APPROX 18K MILES ON IT. IT APPEARS THAT THE MOTOR AND TRANSMISSION DID NOT RECEIVE ANY DAMAGE. THERE IS SOME ROAD RASH ON THE BOTTOM OF THE PRIMARY COVER BUT THAT WAS THERE BEFORE ACCIDENT FROM CORNERING. THE FRAME SEEMS TO BE GOOD EXCEPT FOR THE REAR FENDER MOUNTING AREA THAT COULD BE STRAIGHTENED. THE FUEL TANK ONLY HAS A COUPLE OF REAL SMALL DIME SIZE DINGS. STOCK PARTS ARE VERY CHEAP AND EASY TO BUY FOR THIS MODEL BECAUSE ALOT OF PEOPLE CUSTOMIZE THEM. THIS WOULD BE A GREAT REBUILD PROJECT FOR SOMEONE WHO WOULD LIKE TO HAVE A STREET GLIDE AT A FAIR PRICE OR THE BEGINNING OF A CUSTOME RIDE. PLEASE ASK ALL QUESTIONS BEFORE BIDDING. Louisiana Bill Updates Maximum Handlebar Height Legislation

Louisiana state lawmakers have approved a bill that would change the maximum height of motorcycle handlebars. Current state law restricts handlebar height to no more than 15 inches above the seat, a somewhat arbitrary level, but a common choice with 17 other states. The House has voted 87-0 in favor of Senate Bill 582 to change the maximum height to the rider’s shoulder level, as measured while sitting on the seat.
