Harley-Davidson Touring description

I have owned this magnificent bike for about 5 years and it has been a pleasure to ride. I find myself not riding nearly as much as I would like so now it’s time for someone else to enjoy this beauty. With only 22,937 miles and always garage kept this bike is in excellent condition.

This Harley sports a professional custom one off paint job with an additional front finder and has just about as much chrome as can be put on a bike.

For your riding comfort I have installed a Corbin rider and passenger seat with removable back rest. It comes with two windshields, one smaller tinted Harley Davidson sport and the other is a large clear windshield, both are scratch free and in excellent condition.

For power, a high performance cam, lifters and valve springs were installed. To complete the need for speed, a 42cfm Mikuni carburetor, two into one Super Trap exhaust, a complete high performance Crain ignition system to include spark plugs and wires and a Forward facing exposed air cleaner were added. This cruiser was dyno tested at just under a 100 hp and has been trouble free for as long as I have owned it.

Also included :

1- Stock two up seat ( looks like it as never been used)

2- Chrome luggage rack

3-Two sets of luggage - one set for extended ride and the other for shorter ride. ( never used)

4- leather riding chaps, rain suit, gloves, leather jacket(med) biker boots(size 9) , goggles and helmet

5- Motorcycle floor jack

6- Battery tender

7- Owners manual and shop manual

8- two keys for ignition, bags and fork.

9- Full motorcycle cover

Although I believe this motorcycle to be in excellent condition, I give no warranty on this motorcycle

Airhawk Introduces DS Comfort Seating System For Dual Sport Bikes, Bikes With Narrow Seats

Fri, 16 May 2014

Airhawk, Inc., has introduced the DS Comfort Seating System, a cushion designed specifically for motorcyclists who ride dual sport bikes or bikes with narrower seats. Features of the DS cushion include a narrow front to match the seat profile of most dual sport/adventure bikes and bikes with narrow seats.  A tapered-down front minimizes unwanted pressure on the scrotum, and a heavy-duty hold-down strap system ensures a secure fit to the bike.  The DS also works well with narrow customized or aftermarket seats that have been installed for the purpose of getting the rider lower to the ground.

Something for the weekend, Sir?

THIS IS THE 2011 Harley-Davidson special edition Ford F-150 pickup truck. The 6.2-litre V8 features 22-inch forged wheels, lowered suspension over the standard model and a decent smattering of Harley-Davidson logos. "The new 2011 Ford Harley-Davidson F-150 perfectly blends the flexibility and capability of F-Series trucks with the free spirit of Harley-Davidson motorcycles," said Eric Kuehn, chief engineer.

Harley-Davidson World Ride Tops 10 Million Miles; Eclipses 2012 Total by 28 Percent

Mon, 01 Jul 2013

Motorcycle riders from around the world enthusiastically joined members of the Harley Owners Group (HOG) on June 23 and 24 to shatter last year’s record mileage total for the Harley-Davidson World Ride by collectively logging more than 10 million miles, a 28 percent increase over the 2012 total. Launched in 2008 as HOG’s Million Mile Monday, the annual event was expanded into the two-day Harley-Davidson World Ride in 2012 to give more riders worldwide an opportunity to participate. In 2012, participants logged 7,799,140 miles, but this year as riders celebrated the 110th Anniversary of Harley-Davidson Motor Company and the 30th Anniversary of HOG that culminates this Labor Day weekend in Milwaukee, they blitzed that record by more than 25 percent, tallying an official total of 10,018,231 miles.
