Up for sale is a 2005 Harley Fat Boy, bike is in closest to perfect condition you will find. It has just under 12000 miles on it. Thousands of dollars of upgrades including Hard road king bags and front fender, tons of chrome add ons as you can see, Vance & hinds pipes, Triple front lights, switches and acc. I Only rode it 500 mile in the last 3 years its time for it to go. The bike has only been wet washed once a year, It has only been riden in the rain 1 TIME for about 5 mile till i found cover. I dont take it out if theres a chance of rain. never rode on wet roads except for the one time it rained on me. It has always been stored in a heated building and covered. It is a beautiful Brillant silver not many of this color around. There is 2 chips on this bike about the size of a small screw head both on the bags one on the bottom corner and one on the edge of the lid on the front i dont think they can even be seen in the picture, there is some pits on front wheel. Oils always changed regulary, and serviced once a year. I replaced both tires with harley tires 2 years ago both with less than 500 mile on them. Harley-Davidson Closing Australian Cast Wheel Subsidiary
Thu, 08 Dec 2011Harley-Davidson is closing its cast wheel and hub producing subsidiary New Castalloy, deciding to outsource production to third-party suppliers. Based in Adelaide, Australia, New Castalloy produces about 1,450 wheels and 500 wheel hubs per day for Harley-Davidson. That work will be transferred to outside suppliers by the middle of 2013.

The Australian certification for Harley-Davidson’s Softail models was updated today, adding mentions of two new model codes: “FLFBSANV,” and “FLHCSANV,” both with vehicle identification number codes that indicate 2023 models.

Fri, 31 Jan 2014Billie Leo Standley died last weekend from lung cancer, but before he died, the 82-year-old wished for the world to know he was going to ride off to heaven. To accomplish this wish, Standley and his family made arrangements for him to buried in a Plexiglas casket riding his 1967 Harley-Davidson Electra Glide.
