Harley-Davidson Touring description

2011 Custom Harley Davidson Street Glide.

Guner Choppers relies on their fit and fitment to sell their bikes. They just don't slap the pieces on a bike. They shape and mold every piece to fit just perfectly. Look closely at this bike and you'll see what I mean. And if you are looking for a crazy air brushing job look elsewhere. They feel that these paint jobs take away from the clean look and lines of a bike. Anyways here's what's done to this one.
26" front wheel, so you can actually still ride this bike to Sturgis if you want. 3" drop seat kit. Every body part has been changed, stretched saddle bags with custom latches, stretched gas tank into molded side panels, extended rear fender with flush mount tail light, and a hide a plate, raked custom fairing with custom 3D windshield, bike lowered 2" with Progessive 412 shocks, custom handmade 19" tall 1 1/2" diameter ape hangers, custom dash with pop up gas cap, custom handmade 5" exhaust system which has been ceramic coated, hand stitched seat with logo, relocated ignition switch, upgraded stereo, custom floorboards, everything's blacked out, stage one kit with Vance and Hines fuel module. Too much to list. Only 6500 miles. Built by gunerchoppers.com

Vespa goes back to the future

Thu, 22 Nov 2012

IT'S been a while coming, but the gorgeous Vespa 946 - EICMA 2012's Best of Show - has finally introduced something to the two-wheeled world that our four-wheeled counterparts have had for a while.  I call this 'reverse retro-futurism' - the art of borrowing lines from models past and imbuing them with a sleek sense of future direction (as opposed to retro-futurism, the pre-1960s design trend of depicting the technology of the future. The term 'decopunk' may come close, but feel free to tell me if there's a more exact term.) It's what the New Mini and the New Beetle (both 1997 and 2012 versions) have done so well, and so successfully: building an all-new model as a tribute to a classic, something that's modern yet already timeless, with a widely-appreciated, inclusive aesthetic (and here we eliminate the Plymouth PT Cruiser from the conversation). The biking world is great at retro, indeed thrives on it, but not so good at adding in a taste of the 21st century.

A (Not So) Silent Night from Harley-Davidson – Video

Tue, 17 Dec 2013

It’s probably not conducive for sleeping in heavenly peace, but Harley-Davidson has released a Christmas-themed ad with the song “Silent Night” performed by the revving V-Twin engine of a Softail Breakout. Titled “The Sound of the Festive Season”, the ad spot was produced by U.K agency Big Communications for Harley-Davidson Europe Middle East and Africa. According to AdWeek, the ad was conceived, sold and produced in just 72 hours.

2015 Harley-Davidson CVO and Twin-Cooled Models Certified by CARB

Tue, 19 Aug 2014

The California Air Resource Board has released new certification documents revealing most of Harley-Davidson‘s 2015 line-up. The CARB executive orders, required before a motorcycle is allowed to be sold in California, reveal new CVO versions of the Road Glide Ultra and Street Glide, two low versions of the Electra Glide and more models receiving Harley-Davidson’s Twin-Cooled engine. Introduced last year on the Ultra Limited, CVO Limited and Tri-Glide Ultra trike, the Twin-Cooled engine uses liquid-cooling for the cylinder heads, reducing emissions.
