    For sale is a 2010 Harley Streetglide FLHX.  It currently has only 9200 miles on it (might go up, as it is still being ridden) and has been meticulously maintained.  As you can see from the pictures, it is quite a head turner!  Every inch of this bike has been customized with some of the best parts on the market.  The custom paint was done by Ernie Ball in Springfield, IL in 2013.  If you aren’t familiar with him, Ernie has seen over 100 magazines showcase his work over the years!  The paint is a multi-purple & black with shading/shadows, etc.  Ghost flames are also in the pinstripe for a subtle but ultra-custom touch.  Even the gauges are tinted to match the color of the bike!  This thing almost glows in the dark and has so many layers of color in the sun.  Here is a list of what has been done to the bike (I’m sure I will miss something, but you get the idea).  Motor: 103 cubic inch motor Screamin’ Eagle Stage 4 Kit Screamin’ Eagle heads Domed pistons Adjustable pushrods 58mm throttle body HotWire performance plug wires Chrome Heavy Breather air cleaner with rain sock Rinehardt true dual headers and muffler system Complete fluid change at 9000 miles All motor work completed by C&S Speed Shop and dyno tuned to 112HP and 115 ft. lbs.

The items belong to Ron Shreffler, former owner of a Harley-Davidson dealership in Manteno, Ill. The retired Shreffler once had plans to open a Harley-Davidson museum but has now decided to auction off his collection gathered from 48 years in the industry.

Harley-Davidson Financial Services to Refund $228,000 in Settlement

Harley-Davidson Financial Services agreed to reimburse more than 600 customers in Massachusetts a total of $228,000 to resolve a dispute over refunding enrollment fees on loans. Customers receiving financing occasionally pay optional enrollment fees for additional special loan terms. If a customer pays off its financing loan ahead of schedule, they may be entitled to a pro-rated refund on those enrollment fees.

Airhawk, Inc., has introduced the DS Comfort Seating System, a cushion designed specifically for motorcyclists who ride dual sport bikes or bikes with narrower seats. Features of the DS cushion include a narrow front to match the seat profile of most dual sport/adventure bikes and bikes with narrow seats.  A tapered-down front minimizes unwanted pressure on the scrotum, and a heavy-duty hold-down strap system ensures a secure fit to the bike.  The DS also works well with narrow customized or aftermarket seats that have been installed for the purpose of getting the rider lower to the ground.
