    Fun to ride Harley Electra Glide Standard with too many to list new parts and improvements.This high compression motor combined with cams, heads and displacement makes this feel like a very light bike it's a beast.The Vance and Hines Big Radius pipes combined with the cams and high compression give it awesome loud performance sound. I bought it in 2007 from the first owner with 14,000 miles.It developed a ticking noise so with 40,000 miles I had a ton of work done to it at Chester's HD in 2012.The list of work done is in the photos.I then put some aftermarket bags, custom rear fender, and some banana boards on it.It also has air ride height adjustable shocks and a great sound system consisting of a Kenwood head unit with anAlpine KTP-445U 4-channel Power Pack Amplifier for the front speakers and an old school 100wpc Linear Power for the saddlebag speakers.All are run by smartphone or ipod with 3.5mm input.The bags were cheap and not very flat but I ran out of money and put some cheap paint on it.Overall it looks very presentable and its runs and handles awesome!

    I purchased my Anniversary Ultra Classic in May of 2003 and have been the only owner.  It has never been down.  Once I reached 4,000 miles on the motor, I took the bike to the Lozano Brothers (Factory Harley Racers here in San Antonio) and had them upgrade the motor to  95 cubic inches.  Here is a list of more than $5,000.00 in upgrades (most of which are now Factory Original Equipment): Cylinders were bored and new pistons installed to yield a 9.5/1 compression ratio The heads were ported and polished New high lift cams were installed New high volume oil pump Crankcase seal to prevent too much oil from reaching the top end  High flow air filter behind stock cover Vance and Hines 2 into 1 exhaust system Harley Race Tuner used to map and dyno bike Electronic oil dipstick The motor put out 102 HP and 100 LB-FT of torque at the rear wheel (I was there) I average 33-35 MPG, with a high of 44 on a recent cruise I also have the Driver's headset...never used The tires are about 3 years old and only have about 4,000 miles on them My first battery lasted almost 6 years and was replaced with a Factory Replacement about 4 years ago I also have the original set of soft luggage for the bike, but forgot to take a separate photo The motor always starts on the first crank, sounds healthy, and will out-run my 2013 CVO with a 110.

Two weeks ago, I took a break from my regular duties gathering news for Motorcycle.com to fly to Germany to cover the 2009 Frankfurt Auto Show for our sister site AutoGuide.com. For two hectic days, AutoGuide editor Colum Wood and I scrambled across the massive 6.2 million square foot Messe Frankfurt trade fair compound, running from press conference to press conference to get the latest on exotic sport cars, futuristic concept models and international unveilings from the automotive world. It was heaven for car lovers, but for me, it meant fighting my way through hordes of photogs, auto-journalists and car show models to get the first photos of four-wheeled goodies from MINI, Ferrari and Lotus.

James Cameron, the genius behind such movies as Aliens, Terminator 1 and 2, True Lies, and The Abyss, has a new movie coming out this fall. “Avatar”, a sci-fi action movie, stars Sam Worthington, Sigourney Weaver, Giovanni Ribisi, Stephen Lang and Michelle Rodriguez, all of whom can be seen in the new pictures released yesterday by the studio. In one of the images we see Sam Worthington wearing a Harley-Davidson shirt and sitting in a bar.  Is this the story of an average tough guy who rides motorcycles and plays pool in bars, turned action hero who saves mankind?  Does Sam’s character, “Jake Sully”, ever get on a motorcycle in the movie or just shows his Harley support by wearing the T-shirt?

Even though Tiger woods started paying golf at age two, this story of a three-year-old boy from New Delhi, India is probably just as impressive, maybe more.  Azeem Khan, photographed on the Royal Enfield Bullet above, has been granted a special license by judges in India allowing him to ride his motorcycle on side roads but is not allowed out on the main roads by himself. Khan’s father had to customize the bike so that the young boy could reach the controls and prove that he could handle the motorcycle on his own. I used to sit him on my bike and he would always grab at the controls.

Well, you might not have done that, I know I haven't, but one man who did was Steve Hopkins who built this bike using 7 Harley-Davidson engines some which date back over 100 years. To prove it rides, Hopkins and nine passengers hopped on the bike on Saturday to start the 900 mile ride from Wisconsin to Sturgis.

I’ve got a lot of respect for Dave Grohl.  He’s amazingly talented and very driven.  Even after Nirvana, the guy is still kicking and in the spotlight with the Foo Fighters and the millions of other side projects he’s done (ie: Queens of the Stone Age). Apparently he’s also a big motorcycle guy. Harley-Davidson did a little video on Dave, featuring him drumming on a snare drum to the exhaust pipes of a Harley-Davidson.  The seven minute video goes on about how Mr Grohl bought his first motorcycle when the Nirvana album “Nevermind” started to become big.
