This motorcycle was purchased new, and has had 1 owner. It has 6742 miles, and stored indoors when not used. Harley Davidson issued a recall notice in 2015 for faulty clutches, this work was completed that year. The shift linkage for this bike was replaced in spring of 2016, this was warranty work. This motorcyle is in great condition!
The color is Black Denim with a red pinstripe. Updated accessories include taller handlebars (HD), 4-point docking hardware with a luggage rack. Roland Sands Air Cleaner, Magnaflow dual exhaust system. The ECM calibration was completed due to the air cleaner/exhaust combination. The buyer will receive the Screamin Eagle Race Tuner and Street Tuner associated with this bike. This motorcycle is fitted with a factory anti theft system. The buyer will receive 2 key FOBS. Harley-Davidson Hiring 400 Temporary Workers
Wed, 13 Nov 2013Harley-Davidson is looking for 400 casual workers for its factory in York, Pa., to help with a planned seasonal surge in production. The jobs begin in January 2014 and will run through until the end of May. “When we ramp up production to meet customer demands, it allows us the manufacturing flexibility to build the right bike, the right time for the right person,” Harley-Davidson Spokesperson Bernadette Lauer tells the York Daily Record.

After years of experimenting with different bikes and setups, including using the Russian made Ural (he once owned a Ural dealership), Gibson, finally settled on the Honda 750 Shadow and the Harley-Davidson 883 Sportster. The Cool Cycles Ice Cream Company is open for business, the headquarters are located in Tacoma, WA where they will start selling franchises within a 100 mile radius, the Los Angeles area will be next and Las Vegas to follow.
Harley-Davidson Hires ex-GM Engineer Federico
Thu, 08 May 2014Harley-Davidson has hired a former General Motors engineer and executive, most recently recognized for leading the automaker’s internal investigation of its ignition switch fiasco that resulted in a recall of 2.6 million vehicles. Jim Federico retired from GM on May 5 after working in various roles with the company over nearly four decades, most recently as executive director of global vehicle integration. Federico will join Harley-Davidson on June 2 as vice president of engineering.
