Harley-Davidson Touring description

2015 H-D Electra Glide Ultra Limited (FLHTK).

No, it hasn't been dropped.  Yes, it's had the 2 H-D recall actions addressed by an H-D dealer.

- Two-tone Amber Whiskey and Vivid Black paint.
- High-Output version of the 103cid engine.
- Water-cooled heads, USB, Bluetooth, touch-screen navigation system, 4-speaker stereo system, HID and LED headlights/fog lights, this is the "all the goodies" Harley Davidson touring bike.
The H-D specs and features listing can be found at the Harley Davidson website under "Motorcycles", "2015", "Touring", and selecting the Ultra Limited.

Bike is stock - I've made no modifications in the short time I've owned it.

The factory 24-month warranty is in effect until 17 December 2017, it's automatic, no paperwork to transfer.

Kept garaged, ridden a 30-40 miles a week to keep everything in good working condition.  I'll continue to do this until it sells or I trade it in.  (The mileage is exactly 400 as of June 10, 2016.)

I had reconstructive ankle surgery a while back and moved up to this bike from a smaller H-D.  Turns out, it's just too much bike for me to handle when parking or when stopped at intersections.

Price is set to right around between what I can get trading it in on a new, smaller bike, and what the NADA value is listed at.

Buying from a private party saves you the sales tax and documentation fees.  Buying a bike this new from a private party means you still get the peace of mind of a warranty and that the bike has everything it came with new.

Knievel bikes to go on show in Britain

Mon, 15 Nov 2010

THE MOTORCYCLES, leathers and personal memorabilia made famous by US stunt legend Evel Knievel are being exhibited on a world tour, with a UK date on the schedule. The True Evel tour will be at the Battistinis California Dreamin' Expo, 28th-29th May 2011 in Bournemouth, UK. Show-goers will get the chance to see Knievel's famous Harley-Davidson which crashed in a jump over a tank of sharks, the X-2 Sky Cycle from the ill-fated Snake River Canyon jump, the Wheelie Dragster Car, and of course the instantly recognisable blue and white leather suits.

Harley-Davidson World Ride Scheduled for June 22–23

Tue, 06 May 2014

There’s something about sharing in a popular consciousness. Participating in an activity that is also taking place at the same time all over the world adds a special meaning to the event. Begun in 2008 by the Harley Owners Group as Million Mile Monday and renamed and enlarged in 2012 toHarley-Davidson World Ride, this event simply asks all “friends of Milwaukee” to get on their hogs and ride on June 22–23.

Harley-Davidson’s Vanity Fair Photo Shoot

Tue, 12 May 2009

Harley-Davidson has JUST uploaded a new video to YouTube (seriously! It was at 0 views when I got there!).  The video is a behind the scenes look at Harley-Davidson’s photo shoot for an upcoming issue of Vanity Fair. Watch the behind the scenes footage from Harley-Davidson’s new print campaign in the June Issue of Vanity Fair that salutes women riders and encourages females who have not yet hit the road on two wheels to “experience life with no regrets.” The women featured are health and wellness expert and NBCs The Biggest Loser trainer Jillian Michaels; Grammy®-winning singer-songwriter Jewel; television and film actor Tricia Helfer; and Los Angeles rider/entrepreneur Deborah DiMiceli.
