Check out this Big Wheel Bagger in action in the video below!! (IF YOU ARE VIEWING THIS FROM A MOBILE DEVICE TEXT ME AT 630-532-8227... I'LL SEND YOU A MOBILE LINK.) VIDEOHERE With so many new no name shops selling Big Wheel baggers, people building there own big wheel baggers in there garages, and a ton of cheaply made kits and plastic parts available online; finding a well built machine with high quality parts that has been built by real professionals can be challenging!! Well if you have dreamed of owning a true custom, one off big wheel bagger....this is your chance!! The bike you are dreaming of riding away on is this totally decked out and professionally built, 26", dual air ride Road King built by hall of fame bike builder inductee Eddie Trotta and his Thunder Cycle Designs team. Eddie Trotta's shop, Thunder Cycle Designs has been in business for 2 decades and has been a licenced manufactor of motorcycles for over 10 years. Thunder Cycle Designs is an amazing facilty with some of the most talented people in the industry working there! It's a true 1 stop shop where everything from metal fabrication, to machining parts and accessories, to the best custom paint in the business, to amazing mechanics...all under one roof!! No expense was spared on this road king which was completed for Sturgis in 2015 and was built as a showpiece to bring to different bikeweeks and motorcycle shows across the country. This bike started life as a new 2013 FLHP police roadking. The bike was stripped down to the frame and the work began. The major metal work and fabrication were as follows; frame was cut and raked in the neck, the seat pocket was cut and dropped, making this a drop seat softail, and the factory Harley tank was stretched (so this is a Harley tank, stretched, all steel.) This bike recieved all of the awesome American steel machined and american chromed Thunder Cycle Parts including the following; axel caps, fork bells, Panhead rocker boxes, the entire "Diamond series" (floorboards, grips, reservoir caps, derby cover, timing cover, tramsmission cover, starter cover, and turn signal minimizers, 2 into 1 Thunder thumper exhaust, shifter, break pedals, Thunder Cycle mini apes (all internally wired and internally cabled) and more. The Bones paintjob matched up with the anodized rims is neck breaking. This paint job is amazing and Bones, as usual, nailed the artwork and graphics which also include the hand laid and airbushed silver leaf!. The entire bike including the frame, handlebars, and more have been custom painted. The PM anodized wheels along with the dual air ride suspension really make this bike a head turner and the center stand is a killer option for displaying the bike! This bad boy also has got the treatment of the diamond cut motor along with Sachs racing polished heads. If they don't see you coming...they'll here you coming!! This bike has a bagging IPOD stereo system. The amp, wires, and speakers were installed extramely neatly and the bags still have plenty of storage. The bottom line is if you have been looking for an amazing custom bagger that is truely professionally built....this is the one!! Finanicng is available nationwide and shipping is available world wide!! Call or text me on my cell anytime day or night at 630-532-8227 with any questions, to set up a time to see the bike, shipping quotes, or to find out your payments. Tue, 24 May 2011Zero Motorcycles has promoted Abe Askenazi to the position of chief technology officer. A former Buell engineer, Askenazi joined Zero Motorcycles in 2010 as vice president of engineering where he played a vital role in developing the company’s 2011 line-up, overhauling over 80% of Zero’s existing electric motorcycle line-up while adding the Zero XU and street legal versions of the Zero X and Zero MX in just 10 months on the job. “Abe’s ability to effectively execute on an aggressive product development plan, select the best new technologies and rally his team is remarkable.
Elvis' Harley
Thu, 16 Aug 2012Today (August 16) it's exactly 35 years since Elvis died (or didn't, depending on your beliefs on the matter) so we thought we'd mark the moment with this – Elvis Presley's own 1956 Harley-Davidson. Elvis is so inextricably linked to Harleys that he's even become subject of an endlessly-circulating internet myth. You know, the one where a guy finds an old Harley for a few bucks, starts to restore it and discovers an 'Elvis' inscription under the seat.
Motorcycle.com Adds a New Editor
Mon, 05 Nov 2012While some moto publications are cutting back and constricting, Motorcycle.com is proud to announce the addition of a new editor to our masthead. MO readers, meet Jon Langston, our new Associate Editor. I knew Langston was a cool cat when I first met him at the Harley-Davidson Blackline unveiling in January 2011.
